Sometimes an enemy comes up and when i use an Eldritch Blast on them, I get

Nelana van pyre attack Orc ** (20 + 13 = 33)

or something like that. Anyway, the point is the ** bit. No hit, no miss, just nothingness. Anyone come acroos this? Is there a way around?

I've seen this when using RTAs against enemies that have Deflection feats (deflect arrows, armed deflection, epic deflection), e.g. a monk. The way around is to unequip your weapon.
