Ashley ninja-manced my Shepard in ME1. I still told her to go have a cold shower instead of having sex with her, because I really didn't want my Shepard to have anything with her. I was merely not picking any conversation options that sounded like he was being an ass to her but apparently for the writers not being an ass to Ashley equals wanting her in your bed.
Thing is, in ME3 Ash came back with the "But I loved you..." and those puppy eyes that were hard to reject, since my Shepard's only and true love is Tali. It was hard to tell her that times change, even if there was really nothing between them, as far as Shepard was concerned.
