Nope.

An inferior, grindy version of ME with swearing 12 year olds everywhere? Just no.

You forgot about the "1337" gamers calling everyone noobs when they die and then b****ing at them when they get their butts kicked.

People do that on co-op for this game already.

Its not the game/modes, its the community.

Not even interested in Multiplayer in ME3...Mass Effect never thrilled me because of the universe that much, but mostly because of Shepard and her character. with her gone, playing a randomly created char, I do not see much point of getting into an MMO

Though one taking place in the timeframe before the Reaper war and during the first contacts of humanity with aliens could be interesting storywise...but no...I think I'll pass anyway, as I did with Old Republic (I still want a KOTOR3, by the way!)

Good single player does not equal good multiplayer. In fact, it usually hinders even decent multiplayer because single player gaming is designed to turn the main character into a relatively invincible badass by it's nature, whereas multiplayer obviously suffers from this. Multiplayer is just trying to retrofit a gaming engine to do something it was never designed to do, and therefor will usually be inferior to a true multiplayer game. Bioware was kind enough to prove this by making multiplayer for ME3, but the point has been made so there is no need to keep going with it by adding pvp.

..... I'm pretty much sticking to single player RPGs from now on.

Pretty much this, if Bioware deviates from the style of game they wish to create. I'll deviate my funds in to other games.

No, I would not. I wouldn't want to pay 15$ per month just to grind Varren for hours upon hours.

Well, I like MMOs, so yes. But I loathe PvP. PvP is always rife with elitism. >_>

Yes, because ME3's co-op or co-op / pve doesnt have any elitism in it, right?

To answer the OP, yes I would.

Those that are anti pvp, dont participate? (If it ever happens that is)

Obviously. Except the OP didn't ask about Co-op... <_<
And PvE generally has alot less eliteism than PvP. I've played plenty of MMOs, and the elitest PvEer is rare in my experience.

I would not, but there is likely a significant audience that would. I'm certain that those that have no expectations on Mass Effect have a better chance of liking it over those that want the same feel as the Single Player game.

The question becomes: How many people haven't played and loved the Mass Effect single-player as there's no way to re-capture that in an MMO.

Even that co-op MP stuff does not have an MMO equivalent. You might as well subtract those people, too.

Of course, there will always be those that will accept that an MMO version will simply be an MMO with a Mass Effect theme slapped on top of it and be fine with that even if they played and loved the single-player series or co-op.

MMo's are outdated i cant see this being successfull no mattere how much cash you throw at it, SW old republic = 300 million and it blows!

as for PVP though  i would love to see this, god knows how stasis would work tho!

No. I'm not interested at all, haven't played a second multiplayer yet and am pissed that it has influence on the single player campaign.

Never. Especially after I tried to get into SWTOR because I loved the KOTOR games. But the only thing I enjoyed was the story as the MMO mechanics were, as I feared, a chore and immersion breaking. The whole time I was thinking how awesome some of its ideas would have been for a single player game.

I'm not into PvP in general, I prefer to just fight alongside a friend a if any multiplayer aspect at all. Everytime I hear a rumour about a series I like trying to make an MMO its always disheartening.

Heck yeah, if they didn't try and make it too big. Not everything has to be as expansive (read: expensive) and complicated gameplay-wise as World of Warcraft to be enjoyable.

My favorite games are the ones with great stories and replay value, not a huge endgame/reward/gear system anyway. I absolutely loved the unique character background stories in Dragon Age: Origins (city elf and dwarf noble being my favorites), and I only played the beta of SW:TOR but from what I understand they did something similar with the classes. To be able to experience entire story arcs like that with groups of friends would be really cool, especially if you could further customize your character and have the NPCs react differently to each of you, even if you're the same race/class.

Asari Huntress background story would be so cool!
