Maybe competitive miltiplayer as a spin off but a "real" mass Effect would have to be story and chararcter-driven and I do not see that working for me in an MMO.
So Mass Effect with PvP - no problem
but an Mass Effect MMO - probably not, exept it blows everything we have ever seen out of this genre out of the water.

No. My favorite rpgs are already getting morphed into MMO's and I don't want to see ME get added to that list.

The answer to that is no, but that has nothing to do with ME3 or Bioware.  I don't like the current state of MMO's and I don't like PPV given lag.

I'd support another RPG trilogy that is closer to Firefly than Star Trek. With a smaller goal and smaller scope.

I'll start this off by saying this is all my opinion: I really don't want to see ME turned into a MMO ... I saw that with KOTOR, and as much as I've enjoyed The Old Republic, it has quickly been losing my interest lately. I was excited for TOR because I had believed Bioware was going to do something completely different with the MMO genre, discarding all of the old assumptions and paradigms. Well, you just cannot avoid the "holy trinity" no matter how much you try; no matter how much you give flexibility to classes you will always see "Need Tank/Healer for XYZ Hard Mode run." Always. You will always have requirements for guilds, raids, etc. You like your dps warrior? Well, he has to be spec'ed tank to run this instance; like your dps caster? He better spec heals or we aren't taking him. It is unavoidable. Likewise, you simply cannot avoid the boredom that comes with reaching max level ...

What was really different about TOR was the single-player storylines - though this came at a cost; the narrative pretty much puts you on rails, and there is not a lot of freedom to roam. I will say that it was actually fun to make new characters and level them up to see their stories, but unlike games like WoW you have to level the via the exact same path ... wheras in WoW you could leave Elwynn Forest and level up in Dun Morogh, this option is not available in TOR where you go starter planet -> Coruscant -> Taris -> Nar Shadda ... etc. pretty much in a linear fashion.

Also, I am a pvp'er, and was not a fan of the TOR system - Ilum was absolutely horrible, and faction imbalance, which will always happen when there are only two to choose from, often made pvp impossible and un-fun. Maybe if they followed the model of GW and did a ME game in that mold, it could be interesting ...

No.

Even if I had an interest in future Mass Effect games after ME3, I stilll have very limited interest in any sort of multiplayer game in the series.

A MMO by EA? I can think of anything more horrendous. Heck, I was somewhat curious about The Secret World until I saw the EA tag on the page.

ME universe MMO? If it actually was the ME universe, not a prequel not 100's of years past ME3 _and_ the EC unscrewed the ending _and_ it's not like TOR (More sandbox less cheese, less crappy MMO-generic-combat please).

...Yes, I'd pay and keep paying.

PvP No, never, no, not a chance. The second ME3 MP gets a vs mode I'm gone.

No, but that's because I generally dislike MMORPGs.

I will never understand the draw that these games have. I mean the sole reason I always loved Bioware RPGs is because I like to escape from the rest of the world and be the hero. I don't need a million more idiots just like me strolling around in there.

I play Mass Effect mainly for the story, I'd have no interest playing an MMO.

I can see how an MMO works, but would only play it if done right.
A semi-sandbox ME universe with countless possibilities would be great; however, with EA and Bioware's current record, I can see a completely risk averse, most generic, Council space vs. Terminus system, linear, vertical scaling gear grind coming right up.

No thanks.

Absolutely not. I've already read of the mutilation of THe Elder Scrolls. What is this bs trend where good RPGs "have to" equate to MMOs?! Stop killing SP RPGs!

They already stole KotoR from us. They don't need to ruin things further.

Just because they can;t make games (Irefer to both the mmo and Skyrim) doesn;'t mean that every developer is so idiotic as to turn a first person shooter into a WoW clone

THAT IS NOT WHAT MMO ARE.

I would love a ME mmo..!

Same combat as ME3 MP (No auto attack nonsense), story based instanced missions, (Like Guild Wars 1) mainly PVE, with extra rewards if you bring human players instead of using NPCs companions, and PVP to a certain degree.

I would try to accurately express my feelings on this ridiculous trend of turning every good single player rpg into an mmo but it will probably all be censored. So I'll just say 'NO!''

No, no, no and once again... no.

I enjoy some MP games, but good story and a lot of meaningful choices will always beat them in my eyes. If anything, then give me an option to cooperate in SP world (like Baldurs Gate MP for example). In MMO, you are either useless s**t or you are forced to be an elitist, spending every free hour in the same game. I love many games, but definitely not just one.

NO THANK YOU!
