I would love to play a totally open RP MMO of Mass Effect's universe. Where I could just be a ****in space explorer, artifact hunter, maybe a bit of paragon piracy, those sorts of things. No set path just go off do whatever you want, get money and buy a space ship, go live on the citadel and work as an information broker to other players. **** like that would be amazing. Like an entire virtual world of Mass Effect. Dope **** son.
But... if it was just the far more likely static theme park MMO with linear progression through combat grinding and shallow stories ala SWTOR, no thanks. I barely maintain on-again off-again interest in that already, don't want Mass Effect to go that direction. And I don't think it will. Why would Bioware compete with themselves?

No. I don't like MMOs in general, but there's the added layer that I am a console player and the MMO would likely be PC exclusive.
I hate feeling locked out of content (what if the MMO looked good and I actually wanted to try it?), like when Capcom released Resident Evil: Revelations for only the 3DS; if it's not available on my preferred system I am not likely to bend over backward for a new system/control scheme.

No. Most MMO's are just money grabs anyway. I don't find them very fun. PvP also not very fun because of the elitist attitudes of many of the players as mentioned earlier. I love the Mass Effect Universe and hope there are more games set there. But please no MMO or PvP.
Have to say though, I was against the multi-player, but it is actually very fun, and they keep it interesting with the new maps and classes.

I like paying once for a game and then being able to play it, I don't like having to pay to keep playing. I made an exception for ME3 multiplayer but have since stopped using it.

But you don't have to pay for the ME3 multiplayer. (well unless you are on XBL, but that is microsoft not BioWare) All of the DLC's for Multiplayer have been free, and you don't have to use real money to buy new items, just credits you earn in the game which I like. They also have the weekend challenges where you can earn packs just for playing and completeing the goals.

nope... NO
an HELL NO
IF they make a new ME game, and if it is good and they go back to RPG roots (let you pick different races etc) and if they want to add a MP side of it, they better do it in the same way they did on NWN.
Otherwise? forget it

After SW:TOR, I'm leaning towards no to either. I love PvP, but in TOR it was absolutely awful ...

Depends. If they did it right, I totally would. If its just swtor 2.0, no.

No, I wouldn't play it.
I can't see them making an MMO at this point though. They lost a lot of subs to SWTOR and are making it F2P, probably for micro transactions. Not much fun having to work or pay just for ammo or consumables that can't be replenished without a transaction. Two words for TOR--cartel coins. And F2P will limit access to certain areas, levels, and items.

Keep the same combat as ME3 MP, and I will buy 10 ME MMO copies just to spite the haters here

I'd give it a go. Tho I'd like to see them use the unreal engine for it, and keep a lot of what made mass effect you know mass effect. Yes I'd even beable to see PvP, take mass effect 1 for example the environments where pretty huge, so why not make an MMO?

These games are some of the most boring ones I have ever played. I tried Lord of the Rings and Star Trek online and it didn't last 20 minutes. I will never understand the draw of online RPGs.
