For those who haven't see it or can't afford to do it, they have a video posted on YouTube now of how it looks.

I can just imagine myself with a screwed up neck after an hour playing with it.

I just don't see things like this gaining big adoption by end users due to space, cost, and compatibility issues.
It's impressive tech for sure, especially considering it's being done by 1 video card, but it's not something I'd go for personally.

That setup is unplayable. party overview and selection bar on your left screen and mini map on the right screen. The camera is placed at a point where it can cover the full field of view. To watch it all you have to sit at that very position. The characters in the center screen being hardly viewable. Second, they don't show the zoom out (top) view. I think the image is then stretched over all monitors and fugly. Micromanagement is very difficult that way.

How long does it take for you to select a mob and then move the cursor across 3 screens to select an action?

Honestly, I'd rather set up a 2X2 (2 across the top, two across the bottom) bank of monitors with narrow bezels and have my system make a composite resolution the size of all four combined.

I don't see how people can play with the gaps between the monitors though.

There are new LCD's planned for the market with very skinny bezels around the screen to minimize the "gaps" and make it look more consistent.
Of course those will come at a price (times 3) if you want the best setup.

That looks nice and all but there's nothing that would make me go back to an ATI card.

Pop in of world in extremely wide resolutions (Eyefinity) is certainly a problem. Not sure why it only happens in DragonAge though, as I don't see the problem in any other game - Modern Warfare 2, Bioshock, Titan Quest, Torchlight, Left 4 Dead 2, NFS Shift, Grid all work fine with Eyefinity.
The selection bar being on the far left isn't as big an issue as you might think. Just set automated conditions and you rarely touch it.
Even with these shortcomings, the experience with such a wide resolution is miles better than one large screen (even the 40" 1080p I had previously on my desk). You see so much more of the gaming world and when mobs surround you, it's easier to see your surroundings.
Eyefinity as a game enhancer is far superior in experience than SLI or Crossfire.

Okay, that's pretty cool. However, as shown in the first battle seen, at least in this game there are a lot of panoramic views of a wall. I don't see this being very appealing until games specifically made to take advantage of this technology are out on the market.

We see gaps in everyday life such as driving in your car. We don't complain about the A-Pillar blocking our view because our brain blends all moving elements (driver side window, windshield, passanger window) into one movement.
Same goes for Eyefinity. When you're actually sitting in front of such a setup, your brain blends all movement into one seamless movement. When this happens, the bezels melt away.
It's hard to conceptualize from screenshots because that's all you see. But just remember it the next time you drive. You don't become distracted with the front A-Pillars and complain about it while you're driving because you see coordinated movement and your brain combines it into a whole.

Multiple screens are only good for multitasking..not playing games.
First you have a space between monitors....so you have to keep them close together with no back lighting. ( and all monitors must be same size)
Second is the incredible stretching effect....ugly !
Third is mouse speed and over all game control...
I had a Triple head monitor set up...not anymore...too expensive for too little return.
Personally I'm waiting for the curved LCDs to come down in price...now those look sweet!!!
A three monitor set up would be fine for racing or flight sims....but not everyday gaming.
