I like to have 5-6 characters (including me) in my party so I use the "runscript zz_addparty X".

This is my second playthrough so I know the characters have conversations during travels. So far Morrigan and Alistair have had one and Leliana and Roland (got the mod) have had two and some with the Dog.

I'm 10 hours in. I was just wondering...using this cheat won't mess it up and make it so the conversations don't take place will it?

Thanks! Posted Image

Just to clarify - do you mean that you've had the conversations on this playthrough, while using the cheat? If so, then apparently it does not interfere with the banter. If not, then by 10 hours of playing, I'd expect there to have been some party banter at least.

There are "trigger points" where party banter is most likely to happen, so maybe you can test it by walking through one of those points. A couple that I remember off the top of my head are on the little bridge in the middle of the town in Lothering, and on the bridge to the provings arena in Orzammar. Oh, and in Redcliffe, going over the little bridge that takes you past the smithy away from the chantry also often triggers a conversation.

If you have Rory's mod, why not also get the one that accelerates party banter? It'll add a few extra trigger points to the game =)

All the conversations I talked about happened during this play through.

My first play through was on the PS3 and I remember more conversations but I could be wrong. I do remember the bridge in Lothering having a conversation between Alistair and Morrigan. I'll definitely try the other locations.

Ill also try this banter mod. I didn't know about it.

Thanks to both of you! :)

IME, trigger points only trigger once per load. So once you go over (say) the bridge in Lothering, nobody says anything when you go over it again, until you go into Dane's Rest, the Chantry or maybe camp and then come back out. Then it triggers again.

(There's one in Wade's shop; go in the door and run around the pillar to the right to trigger it. I was running in and out of Wade's shop for twenty minutes once, triggering a bunch of banters.)
