Just decided to play through DA:O all over again because why not? But I noticed that whenever the game hits a loading screen or before/after i enter conversation/cutscene, it takes about a minute or two for it to happen, any way to fix the conflict?
Went to the configuration and here is my summary:

What is the game patched to? And have you registered your copy, in case you need to use the official tech support at help.ea.com?

Currently on patch 1.04

I would suggest patching to 1.05. If you have any mods installed, they may cause some increased load time. Note that the devs say 30 seconds is about average load time-- on you Athlon 5400, I'd actually say closer to a minute would not be unreasonable. Remember that DA:O is very CPU-piggish, no matter how fast/good a video card you might have.
