It was due to shifty voting patterns useing the real poll system. Garrus would have been out too if we didn't cut the fraud.
But even so, this reverses the process, in that the anti - whatevers have the edge. If this was straight up vote for favorite characters, Liara and Tali will always be in the upper tier. Their fanbases are near powerless in protecting them. As you might tell, I'm quite fond of Tali, but now some of the second tier characters have something of a shot.

her n tali weren't voted off... there was an issue with the fans of both liara and tali so OP got rid of both of them to avoid future issues with the fans...

or wrex.... wrex and garrus are pretty tied in my opinion.

If Liara and Tali weren't voted off properly, they shouldn't be out of this. Doesn't seem right, same goes for Vega as well, I liked him. ME's answer to Lee Evans lol.
