This is going to come down to which charecters are kinda-liked by almost everyone. That characters who have very large dedicated fan-bases (Liara, Garrus, Tali) also have quite a decent amount of people who dislike them. I am thinking Grunt, Mordin, and Wrex will have the best shot.

Agreed, I'm pretty sure that Tali, Garrus, Liara and Miranda will get taken out by hipsters who want to take down the popular ones.

Either Mordin, Wrex or Kasumi will probably win, calling it now.

I think that after this you should do it the other way around, vote for your favourite with the least getting kicked out every round... It'd be interesting to see how different the results are.

Well, it'd obviously be Tali, Garrus, and Liara left at the end, were that the case. Between the three of them they typically get about 2/3 of all the votes in "favourite squadmate" polls.

I'd say Legion's got a fair shot too. Even people who hate the geth tend to like Legion.

Great happiness, if EDI is still in, her. With underlining sadness, why did they give her a body, she was better without it.

Mordin deserves to win. He's the only character I can not think of a reason for someone to dislike him.

Mordin has his questionable moralities and in ME2 he approves of the genophage and often excuses the Krogan uplifting and genophage with cold data labelled as "necessary".

He redeeems himself in ME3, but depending on how you look at it, that's the least he could do. Normally if I break your car, it's only fair that I'll be the one who ends up paying it. The situation in ME3 however lifts Mordin above his race representatives as they are against the cure. That makes Mordin appear more heroic than if we judge objectively that through his participation in the genophage he supported the death of millions of krogan in gestation phase, and even if he fixes that now, it won't return all those millions of unborn krogan and the pain and suffering for the entire krogan race and their females, to such a extent that they threw themselves to be devoured by threser maws in the utter sorrow and shame of being sterile.

I like Mordin, but I can find reasons to dislike him, if I had to.

This. Mordin has a very black and white view of things in ME2. I personally like him, but without his redemption in ME3 he would likely be viewed as a cold and distant character.

When I vote Jack, I vote for squaddie Jack, I really liked her development in 3 but hated her in 2.
