I am creating a mod.
The PJ behaves weirdly: he won't quit combat. Except if I use the surrender variables, if it fires, then the PJ will quit the combat mod.
Base core, base module, base creature script. Something to do with teams maybe ?

I am stuck here :-(

Any ideas would be wonderful.

It happens to me every now and then in the Vanilla game. Have you tried starting a conversation with a party member? That usually brings me out of it.

Edit: Actually, the poster above me is probably right. I've seen that in the vanilla game too - stop a battle for a cutscene and then you'll draw your weapons again afterwards even if there's nothing hostile anymore. Just taking control of a character was enough to sheathe their weapon.

But I'd still have to first ask if you've cleared the core override folder in your mod. I think you might not have to in the next toolset release, but that was causing problems exiting combat. But it seems less likely to be the case given your specific circumstances.

I get the same issue in the tavern on the toolset demo mod. I can never leave the tavern to finish the quest.

Thanks every body, this seems an issue of sort.

I'll try to specificaly check the core override folder, thanks for the tip.

Are you able to condense the problem into something small and reproducible people could quickly try themselves?

If it's not the core override interfering, I'm not sure exactly what it could be given the information so far. I think that was supposed to be solved with the latest toolset, but I haven't upgraded yet.
