Well EA need TOR more than they need Dragon Age 3, or anything else for that matter.
TOR generates more in a month than ME3 generated on release (that's ballpark not figuring in costs and any cut Lucas Arts gets).
(based on 1.7m subscribers).
If TOR is bleeding subcribers still (it was down around 500k last figures) it stands to reason they would pull people from anywhere.
