Like many of you know, the EC DLC will come out this summer, I create this post to make a proposal and ask for the comunity support in case they agree.

We all know that Talis face has been shown as a quick photoshop work, I trully think than we, the fans deserve a better thing with in this matter, so my proposal is the next:

In order that Bioware doesnt have to work on a new design, what if we the community chose one of the many great fan made designs of Tali and the Quorians, just like it was done with the female Shepard. I strongly belief on this way, it safe Bioware time, and it will reward a fan for its design.

This new design could be implement on the EC DLC and give Tali the face she deserve.

Thanks for reading and taking the time to do so.

Best regards, Zubi Fett.

You just can't appreciate BioWare's style.

I mean, putting a bit of effort in and admitting it was a 'find the first picture of a woman on the internet and spend two minutes photo shopping it like amateurs' job would sacrifice their oh-so-important artistic integrity.

This is a great idea. I doubt it'll go anywhere, as BW are unlikely to retcon something like that but I'd be very interested to know what is the most popular fan face for Tali.

I'm far more concerned with whether Shepard (in the 4000+ Destroy ending, of course) will ever be able to even see Tali again than about her face.

Nha.. that's no good, we all ave very different opinions on how Tali should be...

The most popular is the one with the horns.. which is the one I dislike the most.

My favorite is the one where only her grey-ish face is showing, with blue glowing eyes and forehead implants, but I also know people who hates that.

BW has already revealed Tali they MUST stick with their decision.. the best they can do is a 3D model of that photo.

It's a good idea, but Bioware and EA will not sacrifice their "artistic integrity" for the sake of the fans' happiness.

I'm fine with Tali's face, she is pretty and looks exotic enough. Lazy picture aside, Quarians were always meant to be "the most similar facial structure to humans". Quoting the Mass Effect Wiki directly.

But she needs an ingame face model, like every other character in the trilogy. Even random civilians walking the streets of Presidium have animated 3d face models. It is not much to ask to get the same treatment for one of the most popular characters of the whole series, if not the most.

You shure thats not the Asari?

Any way, that photoshop was only a Human with few purple lines, even the skin tone is the same, to show that, i trully think they should rather show nothing.

Some how, I never faint the Asari looking too similar, even if the only diferense is the head and the skin tone. The "humanoid" looking rol is already taken by them, I agree Quorians should also look close to Humans, but I think they shoudl be much farther on that than the Asari, and not much closer.

If it is not the horrible fish-face, I would support the idea.

Bioware has already shown what Tali's face looks like. I'm annoyed at the fact that it was a photoshop job, sure, but trying to get them to change it is a waste of energy.

What we should be doing is trying to get them to add a fully-modeled Tali face in-game that we can see, when she takes her mask off on Rannoch.

Quarian facial structure and hair actually makes them the most similar to humans in physical appearance. "

Like Erield said, I'd frankly just like to see her face as part of the character model, even if it's still based on the photo. I think they missed an opportunity to do that kind of reveal when she takes off her mask on Rannoch.

biggest letdown ever with that face "reveal". nothing special under there, nope just a human with lines on her face. it's like what, did you think after it being a secret for 5 years you were going to see something awesome? well nope, just a normal boring face. but we didn't even get that we got a google image of miss england.

I think bioware hates us sometimes :(

They should use one of the ugly elves faces from DA2.

They obviously loved their new look and it's not like they are above reusing art in that game over and over and over....

That's actualyl the one I was referring to in my psot upt there..

She looks incredibly wrong to be Tali.

Why would Quarians wear make up if no one is goign to see them? Not only they do not need it, but it is probably extremely dangerous to their immune system.

Also, Quarians are full of implants, so where are hers?

also I found the photoshop very out of character (for tali and for bioware lol). I was expecting a cute female alien not a supermodel what the hell?!

I am totally fine with the pic, execution was off because of the poor photoshop job, speaking as a graphic designer/illustrator myself.

Obviously adding in a full 3D model of her would be a huge unexpected bonus but not likely. If nothing else, they should just redo the photoshop and this would be a good chance to slip the new file in.

What I would change in her photo:

1. Add Rannoch's landscape and sky into the background
2. Fix the hand to actually match her hand proportions
3. Minimize/remove the lens flare
4. Use highest resolution possible for the photo
5. Show a more clearly defined skin tone. (I have seen and read that some light purple/lavendar/light grey tones seem to be the most popular)
6. Photoshop her suit back on minus the helmet and the golden choker (makes the timeframe and act of the pic being taken more believable)
