Totally fine with her design. Hell I like it. I think its ridiculous that people think Quarians were gonna look vastly different than humans. It was pretty obvious since ME1 that Quarians were very similar to human. All those star-fish head pictures look like female Drell to me. The concept of her design was fine.

Now the delivery wasn't that great, but it's not that big a deal. They have other things they need to worry about

They just need to put that face to game as 3d model and all is good
I like current picture, but im angry because they were lazy about it and never did 3d model

Obviously adding in a full 3D model of her would be a huge unexpected bonus but not likely. If nothing else, they should just redo the photoshop and this would be a good chance to slip the new file in.

What I would change in her photo:

1. Add Rannoch's landscape and sky into the background
2. Fix the hand to actually match her hand proportions
3. Minimize/remove the lens flare
4. Use highest resolution possible for the photo
5. Show a more clearly defined skin tone. (I have seen and read that some light purple/lavendar/light grey tones seem to be the most popular)
6. Photoshop her suit back on minus the helmet and the golden choker (makes the timeframe and act of the pic being taken more believable)

This may be the most realistic request, and in consecuence the one with more chanses to become true.

Could you create a post doing this request? if you do, let me know so I can give my support.

well they said they would 'clarify' the ending, they certainly need to clarify the deal with tali's face. I can already tell they weren't committed to revealing her face since they didn't even make her face, photoshopped it very poorly and incorrectly (that hand man), and you can barely even see it to begin with.

What's the deal guys, you had concept art in the artbook (which didn't look nearly as human) and you went with this?? I do not understand. I'd have an easier time trying to understand the starchild's logic.

@dogtown besides the in game "reveal" being a stock photo what also got people mad was it's just a bad picture to begin with. if she had an in game model and it looked like this:


then that would be much much better. I just don't see tali looking and posing like a supermodel it makes no sense. almost as much sense as the current ending, as in none at all

And no, that pictures does not make me want to have the Photoshop one.

If they do, is there chose, and i wont go in fire dooming ME, but i m sure i will lost all interest in the Quorian people, for sure.

Perhaps the best would have been to left the Quorians for imagination, and keep there faces in the mistery.

I like this picture, and I agree the delivery was poor but that doesn't mean the concept was bad. Bioware was obviously strapped for time so they cut back some stuff. Tali's face isn't that big a deal to me. I didn't romance her to see her face. What they gave us spawned fan art like this and the picure f the house being built so I'll let this slide. 

They could have not shown us at all. I'll take what I can get

I'd love it if they gave Tali a proper character model. Still bothers me that they went to the trouble of fully rendering Chobot's useless character and practically abandoned Tali. I don't even like Tali much, but she deserved better.

See, I think the issue is they didn't get to the see actual "face" in action. Just a picture probably annoyed alot of people. I think they would have been far more understanding and appriciated the visual look if it was more pixelated and more in-game, rather then an actual photo.


I love this pic, it's pretty sweet, and I actually endorse and hope Bioware stick with what they got. Maybe show it in action instead, would probably sway people into their favor of favoriting it.

Also, the wiki Mass Effect should really indulge people in the lore, Quarians are close-resemblance to Human appearance.

The most popular is the one with the horns.. which is the one I dislike the most.

My favorite is the one where only her grey-ish face is showing, with blue glowing eyes and forehead implants, but I also know people who hates that.

BW has already revealed Tali they MUST stick with their decision.. the best they can do is a 3D model of that photo.

What made you think Quarians didn't look human? Hell, look at one. They looked pretty damn human to me. When I first saw Tali in ME1 my first thought was seriously "Why is this girl wearing a mask?" I also wondered what a Quarian was exactly cause when I saw Tali, I thought she was human.

Yes, if your going to take the time to do EC, why ignore Tali's face? I would rather see some more of this then a dozen more StarBrat lines.

I wont have a "true" problem if they decide to make her so human, this is only a request people may agree or disagree, is there game, but a photoshop is, too poor. I will rather see something more alien that that, but i won't break my experience for being like the fan art above this comment. It will how ever, make them too human(like the photoshop suggest) make me louse interest on them, since human skiing tone and few purple lines is just....well, like the helfs of start trek.
