I was wondering....
about 40% of the darkspawn you kill have money.
Why should darkspawn have money?
everyone is killing them, they can not go to a shop because they get killed.
Darkspawn come out of the ground, not that there is some sort of darkspawn city because they come only every 4 centuries or so, so it seems not very usefull to have a city, only thing they want is to kill everyone who's not a darkspawn.
so not very usefull to have money for creatures that always is being hunted by the whole world.
items I can understand, but money?
I really don't see the point.
not that i'm complaining because more money for me, but still.
a find it little bit weird.

And don't you feel a little weird that you can carry 2 whole armor sets, 3 war axes, potions for everything in your pockets?

Hey at least the darkspawn have places to possibly put money. What disturbs me is where do the animals in games like this keep items and money?

Common video game blooper. Just be thankful the Darkspawn at least have pockets to keep their coinage unlike animals...



Now that I think of it, maybe it's normal for Darkspawn to loot equipment off of humans, elves, & dwarves they defeat in battle & they simply don't notice the coins still in the pockets?

In their tummy. Animals eat everything, doesn't everyone know that? Oh, how I miss finding a giant warhammer in the belly of a boar. Good old days.

Ever eager to hurt civilization, they load up with lots of false money to damage the economy (even after death). Anyone who uses darkspawn money not only makes themselves guilty of using forged money but also actively assists in their long-term goal to destroy all that is beautiful.

It's shiny. They picked it up. Most darkspawn aren't that bright. Probably just shoved it in a pouch and forgot about it.

Yep, basically the last one. Loads of creatures like to collect shiny things (including, you know, humans) it's simply another case of collecting trinkets (or so I would think).

borderlands got away with this by telling the players they are undigested loot or something. sure i could imagine wolves dragons and by a looong stretch darkspawn, until i pick pocket one and got money O_o. i guess they do have a shop lol
