while I am very enthusiastic about this new DLC, I fear you are right, but hopefully Bioware will keep up with these multiplayer weekends. With banshees having a chance of spawning when fighting any enemy, I feel as if that really shakes things up.
still. New modes would be awesome. Come on Bioware! I believe in yah!
Edit: Also I am so happy we get Male Quarians, I was pretty disappointed when I realized we only had female quarians at first when the game came out, because male Quarian Infiltrator is what I was planning as playing as from the start. CANT WAIT!

- Two New Action-Packed Maps
– Land on Firebase Jade, located in a Salarian STG base on Sur’Kesh and
fight to control Firebase Goddess on the Asari homeworld of Thessia.- Six Powerful New Unlockable Characters
– Level and promote six new unlockable characters, including the
ex-Cerberus Adept and Vanguard, the Vorcha Soldier and Sentinel or the
Male Quarian Engineer and Infiltrator.- New In-Mission Objective
– Randomly occurring during waves 3, 6 and 10, this new objective will
demand that teams retrieve a high priority package and securely escort
it to a designated extraction zone on each map.- New Gear Slot –
A new slot will be available on the equipment screen, offering players a
persistent gameplay bonus that will not expire after the end of a
match. These new items will vary from weapon upgrades to character
enhancements and will be available through reinforcement packs.- Lethal New Weapons – Eliminate the enemy with deadly new weapons, including the Cerberus Harrier, Krysae Sniper Rifle, and Reegar Carbine.

Sounds like they fixed up the buggy code for that "Retrieve prothean artifact" bug that randomly showed up. Awesomesauce.

Yes, but there was plenty of other names to choose from...I highly suspect they choose "Pheonix" to make fans think it's a Prothean class (Javik->From ashes->Phoenix->Prothean)

Except for that, it sounds pretty awesome to me! I don't get people that are bummed because there are more humans and not more aliens, what's the difference? The fun is in the gameplay, if the class has awesome and cool abilities and dispose towards fun and effective builds, how is it any better if it's an alien or human? (except of course for people's incessant NEED to whine that is)

Regardless, thanks for the DLC, Bioware. If I could be selfish enough to ask for one more thing, it would be for a new enemy against whom to fight. Collectors, a mix-n-match group, Omega gangs... I don't care. Something fresh.
