Who wouldn't think that maybe more protheans survived in other stasis pods around the galaxy javik may not be the only survivor I don't even think he himself knows if he is or isn't
And if javik survives who says their can't be others it really wouldn't be breaking any ground on lore really it just seems like your getting pissed off at a certain group of people who'd think it would be a cool addition but you know what
If they ever do add protheans you know the awesome thing about you have the power of choice you wouldn't have to play as them
can be others, but Javik only survived because he was only one survivor, easy to be missed by the reapers, don't require that much energy. This mean that we won't find a army of protheans somewhere, that is what would be required to the MP. It would be necessary to find a lot of scattered pods, thing that they didn't find for years of excavation in protheans ruins. To suddenly show an army of protheans that was found from day to night, it would brake the lore. Plus, Javik dialogues about he being the last prothean wouldn't make any sense, so they would need to change some stuffs in the SP..
SP IS NOT MP. They wouldn't have to change SP to reflect things added to MP. Lore will always take a backseat to gameplay.
Further, here's a very important point: Human. Biotics. In. MP. Break. Lore.
So don't complain about protheans or things like that, when we've had a complete lorebreak from day 1.

Except I've never played CoD in my life, and I guarantee you I've been playing video games longer than you've been drawing breath.
Again, explain human biotics in MP. Human biotics are incredibly rare, both owing to our genetics, and our newness to the galactic community. Yet we've got thousands, if not millions, floating around MP, if you wanted to lore at that a bit.
MP is not SP. MP is the garbage dump of every possible outcome in every possible reality (and some that aren't).
That's why I can load a save file where I am not friends with the Krogan, the Geth, or the Quarians, and yet, I am fighting alongside them in MP.
I reiterate: Lore will *always* take a backseat to gameplay. Why does medigel work on EDI? Gameplay > Lore.
still, in this specific game, they planned the MP to be connected to the SP. We don't expect it to be a perfect fit in the lore, if they come up with a really good background and a way to tell it, okay, I have no problem with protheans, but it need some background, it can't be "hey, here is the protheans!". If they did that since day one would be okay, we would know that MP isn't related to SP, but it's done! They are linked, bioware will need to think about that for every think they add to the MP.
Biotics is by far diferent from the protheans. It's not like the number of biotics in this N7 squads is equal the number of people playing with it. There's biotics enough to give a background to the idea of squads hitting strategic points in the galaxy, mostly considering that this squads are formed by a big variety of races and classes, so it's not that much biotics, it's completely acceptable. Again, it don't need lore perfection, as you showed with reason, gameplay>lore, but they need to be faithful to the concept the MP is based over, MP as a complement to the SP war story.
If the N7 squads are in the SP, and the SP is clear that Javik is the only prothean know to still alive, so the MP must respect it, unless they specify in te SP that there's other protheans out there, changing mostly of Javik's dialogues.
