By the looks of it.. Never. -__-

Animators probably too busy working on the Extended Cut...
Best to leave them be - DLC Trailer not important in the scheme of things.

So when are these DLC weapons for MP going to be released for free in SP, or has Bioware completely giving up on their SP game except for the EC DLC?

While this is a pretty big problem for PS3 users, xbox and PC players can just use this.

There are threads describing how to get the weapons elsewhere.

I think they are laying low with sp dlc because of from ashes day 1 dlc thing. I think after the extended cut they'll hammer us with sp dlc (I hope).

Reinforcements are being deployed to all N7 forces, bringing out some heavy hitters thanks to the new Mass Effect 3 Rebellion DLC Pack! Arriving on Xbox Live, the PlayStation Network and PC on Tuesday, May 29 (Wednesday,  May 30 on the PSN in Europe), the Mass Effect 3 Rebellion Pack will be bringing you more gear, more weapons, more maps, more kits, and new races, and it’s available at no additional cost for anyone who redeemed an Online Pass for Mass Effect 3 on PC, PS3 or Xbox 360.

The Rebellion Multiplayer Expansion opens two new fronts against the Reapers: Firebase Jade’s jungle reservoir and Firebase Goddess on Thessia. In-game reinforcement packs now include three new weapons (Reegar Carbine, Krysae Sniper Rifle, Cerberus Harrier) as well as equipment, consumables, and six new characters from species that have lost lives or whole planets to the Reapers: Quarian Engineer and Infiltrator, Vorcha Soldier and Sentinel, Ex-Cerberus Phoenix Adept and Vanguard. The battle continues!

Glanced.  Saw "ex-Cerberus".  Laughed out loud at how creatively bankrupt Bioware must be, to shoehorn in even MORE generic, boring humans?

Why would we need ANOTHER human vanguard, and ANOTHER human adept?

Way to fail, guys, way to fail.  MP desperately needed something to keep it fresh, instead, more garbage.

Seriously bro?

They're giving us free DLC and your just going to bag on it because it includes humans? Sad.

Ahahahahahaha.  #1.  I'm not your "bro".  #2.  This DLC is not free.  You don't actually "get" anything with it except a couple SP maps converted to MP.  The characters, weapons, everything else?  You have to unlock that, same as you did before.  Don't fool yourself.

A "Free DLC" would be more like "get the things right away".  Not "Please buy our Bioware Points!".

Yeah, and the human thing will make me bag on it.  MP needs to be refreshed.  It's stale.  The same objectives, against the same enemies, with the same behaviors.  It's boring.  It needed something new, different, fun.

More human vanguards is not that.  Nor is more human adepts.  Zzzzz.

They wont just be adding Humans, they will be adding 2 other quarians and 2 vorcha. If you dont like the human characters, then pray that you will get the other 4 instead.

You are a little right about the whole refresh thing, but it MIGHT come some day.

Huh, I wasn't aware that Bioware FORCED you to buy the packs with real money... oh wait, that's because they DON'T. You're meant to buy them with in-game money, you don't have to buy them with real money, unless you're so impatient that you can't play a match or two. You must have missed the part where they said that they were adding a new objective and new maps to play on. You haven't seen or heard what either of their powers do, so don't immeddiately just go "OMGz moar Humanz!? Dis is gunna suckz". For all you know, they could be really cool. And again, you must have missed the part where they said that they were adding Vorcha and Male Quarians.

- Making it free means basically everyone will get the DLC, so there'll be no community split.

- Making it free garners additional goodwill from the community for Bioware.

- Allowing all items/characters to be unlocked through playing, allows the people who don't want to pay, the chance to get everything through lots of playtime.

- Allowing all items/characters to be bought with money also allows the people who don't want to spend too long playing the chance to get everything.

- Those who want to pay; pay.

- Those who don't want to pay; don't.

Basically, free MP DLC is a win for all parties concerned.

#2  If your speaking in terms of real life currency then yes it is. You download the content onto your system and don't pay for it. That means it's free.
#3 the last batch of DLC maps were not converted from SP. What proof do you have that these are? please tell me your trolling
#4 They are adding a new objective and a new perma equipment. Not bad for free DLC. and you don't even have to work to earn that part.

Looks pretty cool. Haven't touched MP for well over a month now, as I'm currently in a Mass Effect 1 playthrough but I'll definitely download and have a go on this at some point. Like the Vorcha and ex-Cerberus characters, the Quarians are OK.

Everybody just needs to stop ****ing about the dlc be happy and lucky that their giving you new characters new maps to fight on a new equipment slot for permanent powers and or upgrades and that their is a new random objective during rounds 3 6 and 10 all for free without you having to pay any money unless like others have mentioned you're really impatient and the best way to unlocks things quickly is premieum spectre packs and playing gold not really that hard

Just stop ****ing about free content if you don't want it then don't fing download it but free content is nothing to turn down espically when these new characters may have very awesome powers but you don't fing know yet and jump the gun

Don't mean to rain on your parade, but we all know the new weapons will suck.

Auto-mattock - the mattock already has a low DPS. An automatic one would probably be the equivalent of the Eagle :X

The new shotgun - recycled Particle Beam from SP

The new sniper rifle - a scoped Stryker.

That's a little vague. So it's like one player having to carry said objective, while the other 3 protect him/her as he reaches the extraction point? I have to say, I like this idea. About time they included an objective wave that actually requires teamwork!

This.

To me, this free dlc is just like a patch.  you want what's in the dlc then you still have to unlock it via packs just like everything else.

A real DLC whether free or not, is you obtain everything from the dlc as soon as you begin the game but then again not everyone has the same view from what I see no matter how/what you say.

Now that aside, if anyone has a problem with this dlc, like saying it's crap, bad or whatever, you are not forced to download the dlc so dont download it if you don't like and pretend the dlc did not exist and just play the game like what you have been playing this whole time or don't play at all when the dlc released.

I certainly don't like some of the current characters so I don't play them instead of complaining. I don't like them NOT because they are ugly, human or non-human, crappy powers, weak or overpowered but it because they don't fit my playstyle, that's why theres a range of characters to choose from.
