Ex-Cerberus makes sense though. In the SP, there were plenty of defects from Cerberus.

It would've been whack if it was Protheans though.


While this DLC is cool, they need to add more modes. The new objective thing is nice, but needs to be on a bigger scale. IMO.

I agree. More gameplay modes will let us play the maps differently and let us consider different tactics to use.

On another note, am I the only one who wants a Phantom-like sword melee?

After you download the DLC.

Last time people just assumed everything would be unlocked at midnight.

To the people who think they don't have
bandwidth limits though, better double-check. A lot of ISPs, even in the
US, have hidden bandwidth throttles that kick in once a certain limit
is passed (Comcast is about 30 or 40 GB, I believe), but they don't
mention this to their customers. So yes, TECHNICALLY you have unlimited
bandwidth download limits, but once you've exceeded a certain amount per
month, you'll find that your internet speed slows to a crawl, which
renders online gaming and web browsing for anything but plain text
websites to be unusable.

Comcast is notorious for being a horribad ISP.

I just checked my data history and average 66 - 89 GB a month (DL only) and haven't
noticed a drop off at any point. Sometimes it gets slow, but that has
more to do with the server I am connecting to (youtube, low seeded
torrent, etc) than my connection.

Really? You guys really read Chris Priestly's post saying:

And it was pretty easy to see that.

real and that they would have news on a different DLC, that was real,

Ehhhhh, I guess I can see that. I just figured since the first leak was 100% accurate this one was too. So when Chris came out and denied something I was positive was true, I figured he just meant the release date. That way he can "deny" the leak without actually lying.

So they were TRYING to make it seem like the pack wasn't real. I'm just cynical so I see something like this and just think in half truth's.

Oh my god, it's true. I thought this was another rumor. Just a question though--
Will the male Quarians need to be unlocked again if you already have the female Quarians, or will they be like the Humans (ie: having both Male and Female Humans)?

the male quarians are going to have different abilities from the female, so you will have to unlock them separately

Everybody just needs to stop ****ing about the dlc be happy and lucky that their giving you new characters new maps to fight on a new equipment slot for permanent powers and or upgrades and that their is a new random objective during rounds 3 6 and 10 all for free without you having to pay any money unless like others have mentioned you're really impatient and the best way to unlocks things quickly is premieum spectre packs and playing gold not really that hard


Just stop ****ing about free content if you don't want it then don't fing download it but free content is nothing to turn down espically when these new characters may have very awesome powers but you don't fing know yet and jump the gun

well we do know a few powers and that makes me want to freaking play it.

Quarian engineer gets Arc grenades 
Quarian infiltrator get a hunter mode type thing
Cerberus adept gets smash
Cerberus vanguard has biotic lash
Vorcha sentinal has a flamer (SQUEE!!)

Auto-mattock - the mattock already has a low DPS. An automatic one would probably be the equivalent of the Eagle :X

The new shotgun - recycled Particle Beam from SP

The new sniper rifle - a scoped Stryker.

What?

The mattock is an excellent weapon even on gold especially if you dont have a saber or strike. you kinda sound spoiled. 

Since i dont have a particle beam i cant comment, but the idea sounds cool.

So the striker isnt good? is it not good to have a version of a good weapon with a free attachment?

Humans aren't useless, but the vanguard is the only one who isn't outclassed by the aliens. Let's hope that changes with the DLC.

That and we finally get a new equipment slot for permanent character upgrades if people don't want more free dlc or dlc that they have to work hard to unlock then just don't download it it is annoying for someone to give out free hands or decent handouts and still have people ****ing about it

A good bet would be actually after the release to avoid a rush and give them time to deal with any unexpected issues. If I we're in charge I would not want a repeate of the last DLC roll out.

Quitely release the content, people who are on BSN or could into Twitter already know. Let "them" test it for 24 hours. Release a trailer the following day and get slammed by the rest of people who don't follow the game as closely.

Indeed, this is the second FREE DLC for ME3 we've gotten and still, people complain and say: "Blah, Blah, Blah, that's not what I wanted".  It drives me crazy.

I'm going to get a six pack and some popcorn and spend my whole night watching the internet explode with "f#@k Bioware and EA" posts the day after they release the extended cut for free. It will probably be more entertaining than playing the game. It will be chaos! Hurry up with that dlc..........:-).

so is there a heightened chance of snagging the new characters or is it the same luck of the draw after a content launch?  Been playing like crazy since they opened up the bounties to PS3 and still havent got G.I. or Justicar.
