Seriously: I believe this a clear benefit coming from being a PC player. You don't depend on "third parties" for DLC release.
Honestly releasing it at this time make perfect sense however I suppose MS has its own schedule and not always may be compatible with the ones of the DLC's producers.

Yes, we all know that it's supposed to come out today, but reading that it's on it's way after waiting for so long and having my hopes ripped out of me by Chris Priestly's mess up, it made me a little bit happier to see that it's still coming. There's still a chance that something could "go wrong."
