Ahahahahahaha.  #1.  I'm not your "bro".  #2.  This DLC is not free.  You don't actually "get" anything with it except a couple SP maps converted to MP.  The characters, weapons, everything else?  You have to unlock that, same as you did before.  Don't fool yourself.

A "Free DLC" would be more like "get the things right away".  Not "Please buy our Bioware Points!".

Yeah, and the human thing will make me bag on it.  MP needs to be refreshed.  It's stale.  The same objectives, against the same enemies, with the same behaviors.  It's boring.  It needed something new, different, fun.

More human vanguards is not that.  Nor is more human adepts.  Zzzzz.

Wow, I have to say you sound like an ingrate. It's free because you don't have to pay to unlock the characters, you only have to play and if you have a problem with playing the game, maybe you should take a break?

I was excited for the Phoenix Adept until I saw Singularity. Felt the same way when I saw new grenades for the QE. Yay for free and all, but eh... a little disappointing. Hopefully the scan power for the QI isn't just a watered down Hunter Mode. ;\\

No, but I would hope that something of this nature would come via campaign DLC first or simultaneously.  Just like the Raloi.

I would too, any more Prothean love is a good thing in my opinion, so no one would complain about finding them in SP.

Just counting down the days til all those who are bafflingly "in your face it's Cerberus" people start complaining when it comes out when it turns out they're useless (Singularity? Really?). Male Quarians are a snooze fest too.

You haven't even played them yet and you're already calling them a "snoozefest"?

Male Ex-Cerberus types? Bleah. I'd rather play as a Phantom or a Nemesis.

"Bro" is used lightly, obviously you're not his bro. The DLC is completely free, the maps are unlocked by default, and everything is seamlessly intergrated into the game. Why does it matter either what the race of a character is?

The Cerberus characters would play the same, regardless of race, who gives a damn. Sure its cool, but its just novelty, stop kidding yourself.

You really are entitled over a free-DLC. Most games expect you to pay 10+ for this crap.

15 humans, just perfect...

Maybe wait and see until release? It's free after all so it doesn't cost you anything other than playing the game? Maybe after you've played around with the different characters you will find out you like it after all.

More a snooze fest in terms of boring lore/story wise. They have a chance to be decent but if the arc grenade is anything like the arc pistol and I'll be right on that front too. Mainly though, Quarians irritate me due to their unwavering stupidity throughout the series. Adding slightly altered male models doesn't change that.

Okay, when the rumor was Ex-Cerb I have to admit I was like "blahbeeblah" although I still thought it was cooler than Prothean, but damn dudes, I am impressed, nice job!

Damn. I was hoping for Protheans the whole time. I'm not big on the idea of adding more human characters, but I know BioWare's going to make them a fresh experience. All the characters and gear sound amazing, so now it's time to grind for a metric crap-ton of credits and hold out for Tuesday. Whoo! Thanks BioWare!

Got to wait for the next DLC to get the females silly Image IPB

I'm fine with that, as long as one of them is a Phantom.

*practices her gut stabbing*

.
Playing as a Phantom... one can dream, right?
.
Anyway, gonna play ME3 mp like crazy this weekend... save up as much credits as I can.

NEW CHARACTERS

Vorcha Soldier
Thanks to their unique physiology and their Bloodlust ability, the Vorcha are joining the fight and are perfectly suited for the utilitarian soldier kit.

Vorcha Sentinel
The innate aggressiveness found within the Vorcha make them shockingly durable combatants, and when coupled with their Flamer skill, the Vorcha sentinel is a force to be reckoned with.

Male Quarian Engineer
Quarians have spent centuries at perpetual salvage and ship repair; the survival of their species depends on this technical expertise. When bringing the new Arc Grenade to the fray, the Quarians prove their prowess as effective engineers on the battlefield.

Male Quarian Infiltrator
The Male Quarian Infiltrator must actively rely on stealth while in the heat of battle, and when they make use of their Tactical Scan ability, they quickly prove their mettle while continuously dishing out the pain.

Ex-Cerberus Vanguard
When the Illusive Man turned to indoctrination in order to ensure the loyalty of his troops, many Cerberus operatives defected and joined the Alliance in order to stop the Reapers. Now that we’re on the same team, Ex-Cerberus Vanguards (along with their new Lash attack) are quickly proving their worth.

Ex-Cerberus Adept
A result of the Illusive Man's early experiments in enhanced human physiology, Ex-Cerberus subjects are highly skilled combat and biotics specialists. As a result, Ex-Cerberus Adepts can lay waste to the enemy with their Smash and Singularity powers.

NEW MAPS
Firebase Jade - Surrounded by huge waterfalls, Firebase Jade overlooks an ancient reservoir built by the salarians centuries ago. Set up strategic chokepoints inside the base’s main buildings to get the jump on your enemy, and work with your team to meticulously clear each room to achieve victory.

Firebase Goddess - Nestled in the epicenter of a Thessian metropolis, Firebase Goddess is one of the last strongholds of asari resistance against the Reapers. With its circular layout, Firebase Goddess is a tough location to control. This arena combines heavy cover and elevated firing positions, so stay light on your feet.

Did anyone else see this picture and immediately think of Kratos?

Wonderful News!
These characters and weapons would be a wonderful addition to ME3 MP.
Finally we discovered what Phoenix is: Ex Cerberus operatives. My guess was correct, then Image IPB

Fully automatic Mattock based AR sounds very promising. According to the weapon paragraphs on BW blog this weapon should have less recoil even though it delivers less damage than standard Mattock. I suppose it will have a high DPS.

Turian antimaterial sniper is very interesting, too. I hope the quarina shotgun will be more fun to play than the ARC pistol.

Now I have just few questions.

1. Will we see a trailer?

2. Are all the DLC weapons and characters Gold rarity?

3. Can we have a special DLC pack like we had with resurgence, this time during the release week?

/sigh, they just had to give the new adept freaking singularity, i really hope they have a 3rd skill that is more usefull. But I am glad to see they didn't go lazy and give the male quarians the same skills as the females. That new sniper rifle sounds awesome, the shotgun I am skeptical, and the new assault rifle... well I doubt it will be better than anything already available, the mattock is already underpowered considering it is not automatic(considering it is supposed to be a higher caliber semi-auto rifle). I was really really hoping for a new pistol, kind of disappointed there. I am looking forward to this DLC, but by no means am I really excited, it is pretty much just more of the same, very little change to game play from the sounds of it.

The online pass is necessary to play Mass Effect 3 multiplayer; if you're able to connect to multiplayer games, then you've already used your online pass and will have no trouble downloading and playing Rebellion content.

I have no problem with this even though i hoped for Protheans, but if they were really planning on calling them phoenixes then that was the biggest ****-tease EVAR.... or they just forgot what they named their prothean dlc and delayed this to officially change the names of the phoenixes.
