I want that weapon just for it's name. It's good to see BioWare honouring Kal'Reegar, even if they did kill him in an e-mail.

· New In-Mission Objective – Randomly occurring during waves 3, 6 and 10, this new objective will demand that teams retrieve a high priority package and securely escort it to a designated extraction zone on each map.
· New Gear Slot – A new slot will be available on the equipment screen, offering players a persistent gameplay bonus that will not expire after the end of a match. These new items will vary from weapon upgrades to character
enhancements and will be available through reinforcement packs.

Oh well, hopefully the next DLC will feature one new race for each class. That'll probably add to the visual variety on the battlefield. Anyways, looking forward to testing it.

Alright now this is interesting. Although the new classes are kinda disappointing, it's nice to see that they're adding to the gameplay, the most important aspect of any game. Kudos. Can't wait to try this now.f1r3storm wrote...

seriously, do you really think that it'll change anything? i don't give a vorchas ass about MP. i want satisfying ending for ME3, you won't bribe me with all of those free MP packs
Yeah, free as in "pay us real money for the random chance to get these characters" packs.
Well, when you've got a cash-cow you might as well milk it. Tis not surprising.

This sounds particularly nifty.Chris Priestly wrote...
Krysae Sniper Rifle - This Turian antimaterial rifle is modified to kill Reaper enemies. The Krysae’s scope uses a rangefinder that adjusts to keep the target in proper proportion to the shooter, which comes in useful when the sniper is forced into close range. Its specialized ammunition is both armor-piercing and explosive. In a desperate move, the Turians released its specifications over the extranet so that nearly anyone with a fabricator could manufacture this weapon to help the war effort.
The MP could do with a couple more modes or a new enemy type, but new maps are more than enough to increase the MP's longevity for the time being, and the fact that its free is most excellent. Cheers Bioware

This is very interesting. Its not quite new mode, but a new objective ought to spice things up rather nicely.
And the permanent upgrade sounds pretty cool as well. I'm guessing the bonus won't be that great given that it doesn't run out, and you'll have a few choices as to what it is.

Thanks for making it free, and not dividing the MP community. I'm quite happy about this.

Of course it's "free"!. That's the whole point!
They earn money from people buying those reinforcements packs or whatever they're called. Yes, yes people are going to jump at me now and say "Well I don't, I use the in-game money I grinded!".
Good for you. However, many use real money. I've seen the posts, and given the random nature of the packs it's specifically designed for you to drain your in-game money and feel compelled to use real money.
So please do not thank them for their roundabout profit strategy.

When is the Resurgence Pack available?
The Resurgence Pack is available on May 29th for PlayStation 3 in North America, Xbox 360 and PC worldwide. The pack will be available on May 30th for PlayStation 3 in Europe.
Copy pasting eh? Silly Bioware, we already have resurgence.
EDIT: The reeger shotgun sounds all sorts of fun. As long as they didn't copy *everything* from the arc pistol.
