the patch was released for PC, I updated it about an hour ago, but the DLC is still going through the process of going live, the mass effect twitter feed stated that, same as Chris Priestly's twitter feed

I'm in the west coast of Canada (Pacific time zone, 1 hour behind Edmonton's Mountain time zone), it's 11am here, and I just started downloading the Rebellion DLC on 360. It wasn't showing up before, but then I power-cycled and checked the in-game Downloadable section again, and there it was!

just got rebellion in central time zone 1:00 PM. but apparently there is no rebellion store pack like there was a resurgence pack? so would i have a better chance of getting new characters in veteran or premium spectre packs?

If you don't download the DLC, then you won't have access to any new features. So, yeah, you need it.

The resurgence pack didnt release same week as expansion. If I remember correctly it came out the following week. So look for a rebellion pack next week. Probably wanna go with PSPs as new stuff is gold and 1 ultra rare.

Not correct. You will only be able to play on the new maps and find the new characters and weapons in the packs if you have the DLC downloaded.

This is getting really annoying, cmon Bioware! I know thats bullsh*t that im talking something about FREE DLC... But don't you think it would be better to release a DLC AT THE SAME BLOODY TIME ON ALL PLATFORMS?! How big is that problem?

...Of course, downloading it is one thing. Being able to play it is another - stupid getting stuck on the "Checking downloadable content..." screen
