Now see if you can follow me here: one is greater than zero.  With me so far?  Good!  Extinct means zero living specimens.  There is a living specimen: Javik.  Therefor, Protheans are not extinct.  Still with me?  ...  Didn't think so.

He is the last one left! How do you expect him to reproduce? And if he did, e.g cloning (Which would take a lot longer then people seem to think) Do you think the Protheans, probably the smartest race in the galaxy, would jump straight into a war without thinking about other things first?

Errr... what? There are thousands of ardat yakshi, plus to make a banshee all you need is the asari with a recessive ardat yakshi gene, and there are millions with those. We have found 1 Prothean.

to all of you lamers who say "the only way we could get protheans is if they did a sp dlc that showed more protheans existed" how about this...if lore is so important why are quarians on the battlefield? one bad shot could rupture their suit and then they're definitely dead...also, have you ever seen a krogan vanguard in sp? didnt think so. also hows about them geth? you know...the geth i just sent the whole quarian fleet after on my sp? they definitely would want to have allies against the reapers after i screwed them over. so basically to sum up my point...you super nerds need to stfu because $$$ will always be more important to bioware than you're stupid lore

It's entirely possible that more of Javik's unit is yet to be excavated... like when they found the rest (we think) of the Terracotta Warriors, in china.

I reckon it could still happen with an Eden Prime map.

I can see your point but insulting people who have a different opinion than your own isn't going to make anyone take you too seriously. Also if you think the lore is stupid why did you even play the single player?

Quarians are still soldiers, but they're more cautious.  Wrex was a Krogan Vanguard.  Geth are epic, lore or not . 

I really don't see the big deal if they're included or not, if they are, all that matters is if the class itself is good, when concerning MP at least.

How do you know that? Everyone was saying that they are extinct for ages, then Shepard discovered Ilos taht had ****loads of Stasis pods. True, everyone there was dead, but there is a possibility that on some moon there is another room filled with Prothean stasis pods. Or you could make up some other explanation quite easily. Anyway, I still hope that BW will release a 3rd expansion pack and we'll have protheans there. I mean, come on, I want to play as a Prothean adept in pink armor.

Multiple Protheans wouldnt make sense lore wise... as for more humans, im okay with that. I can identify myself much more with humans

i was hoping. but i'm happy with what we are getting.

it wouldn't make sense with SP, but MP doesn't really need to. Plus it would be interesting if they came up with an SP DLC to find more Protheans.
