that was very well written. This just shows how much more they could have done with the ending, not necessarily change much, but actually explaining the reasons behind motives and so on. And I really liked how you wrote the last moments; with the people you gathered along the way. Thats the way it should ALWAYS be in a game like ME
And I apologize for possible horrible spelling (english not being my main languge)
Your spelling is fine (and I'm not a native speaker either, though I am a teacher of the language).
As for the many things that could have been done with the ending by Bioware ... I'm currently replaying the game with my Shepard #2, and I've been following the dialogues of Normandy crewmen and crew members a lot more thoroughly... and I must say the dialogue is thick and dripping with foreshadowings of the ending, though I can only really appreciate them in the second playthrough (and this is actually a great thing - they're subtle enough to stick with you subconsciously if you see them the first time round, but they don't give too much away).
I agree that the ending could have built more on these foreshadowings, possibly in the way suggested by PlumtheHunter. After all, a lot of the relevant dialogue has already happened in-game, if the appropriate flags were checked, it could be replayed in a manner similar to Anderson's and the Illusive Man's faces appearing at the end (my favourite quotes at the moment, probably misquoted a little, are Javik's "Don't listen to what others want you to do, but do what you must," Garrus' "You've made peace between the Quarians and the Geth. If you can make peace with the Reapers too, they'll make you a saint" and Shepard's "I'll sleep when I'm dead." And let's not forget Kolyat and Thane reading Shepard his last rites at Huerta).
