I have a logitec G700.  The issue is that in ME3 I cannot assign mouse buttons other than left, right, middle, G4, and G5.  I want to assign G6 and G7 but ME3 does not allow.

Please explain and help.

I have a G400 with a semi similar problem.

I have to Alt + Tab and look at the Logitech Software. Alt + Tab back in and then it works again.
I use the Key Binding tool in ME3 to verify buttons work before I start Multiplayer/Single Player games. About 50% of the time, the thumb buttons work as expected, first time. 100% after the 2nd time.

What I have found is that some games do not work with the mouse software running. Try exiting mouseware before starting ME3 it worked for me. BTW - I've seen this problem in the past.

Wow. G400,G700 and I'm still playing with a G3 5 function mouse.lol

I don't use the software(logictech). Its uses PnP software basic. I had problems with their software with a MX512(think thats the one) couldn't play most of my games at the time while the software was in use.

I have a G400 and it makes me wish my earlier logitech mice had not died.  For some bizzare reason I tend to go through mice somewhat quickly.  I have always found their software to be problematic.  Some games just do not like mouseware and this goes back to the time they had the giant button in the middle.

I finally found the solution. Set buttons to Keystroke Assignment in Setpoint.
