Still getting redeem/purchase online pass

I don't know if anyone else is still getting this error, but I am. Hope Bioware fixes this soon. Here we go...

It all started about 3 weeks ago when everyone was getting the online pass issue shortly after the conclusion of Operation Exorcist. At the same time people were reporting that they weren't receiving their commendation packs from the weekend's operation, and were told to contact Origin Live Support to have their packs handed to them. I believe it was confirmed somewhere that the online pass issue was linked with the commendation pack issue somehow, but I'm not sure.

Well, a couple of days later everyone was once again able to login to multiplayer (me included), some still missing their commendation packs and others not. I contacted Live Support and had them award the commendation pack to my account. A few hours later I was once again being asked to redeem or purchase an online pass when trying to access multiplayer, and the issue has persisted since. I tried contacting Live Support about 5 times and always got some wacky answer like repair installing/reinstalling the game, which I did (repair installed, then uninstalled+reinstalled the whole game, did same for Origin), and obviously it didn't work since the problem isn't on my harddrive (heard it's a verification issue with the EA servers).

At about the same time, threads like these started to appear, I wasn't the only one who got the issue for a second time, and finally, a couple of days later Bioware responded that if you're having an issue like this, your account is most likely banned. They told everyone with the issue to contact me3accountadmin@bioware.com to inquire about their account status.

I sent an email on 8.5, and got verification that my account is NOT banned, but that they found a slight "irregularity" which causes me to get the issue. Then I sent another email on 16.5 since the issue hadn't yet been fixed, and they told me that they are "still investigating". Come on, it's been half a month since I sent my first email. Considering the time that has passed since my first email and the fact that the issue has been fixed for the majority of the players (even for those who got the online pass issue for a second time after they had fixed it the first time), I don't think they are ever going to do anything about my problem.

One more thing, my account appears to not connect to Galaxy at War at all, which means that my galactic readiness in single player is sitting at 50% constantly, and I don't have the extra war assets from my promoted multiplayer characters (I have tested raising my galactic readiness with the iphone datapad app, the galactic readiness updates on the website in my multiplayer manifest but not inside the game). So yeah, single player isn't that much fun either without the readiness/assets.

Something I also find weird is since it says that I need an online pass to access the online features of the game, the game still authorizes my DLC correctly. But I won't touch single player until I have my readiness/assets.

Just wanted to get this off my chest since they announced this weekend's operation, it'll be the second one I miss if they don't fix my issue in time. But again, what's the point if they don't even care?

I'm playing on the PC and I paid 69.90€ for the digital deluxe edition which isn't working as it should.

I just had that happen to me also, I restarted the game and checked for an update, this time I got "EA servers not available". The second message is a little less frustrating than the online pass thing, but it really is getting to just be bull****.


edit:
just tried two more times and got the online pass crap again both times.  I am guessing the server not available was a fluke, and the issue is the online pass thing only again.

I got the same "online pass" starting a week ago.. suddenly i could play it 2 days ago.

Then I asked them for my commendation pack for operation silencer yesterday and got an email saying they gave it to me.. then its back to the "online pass" problem again

I think there were some other players who also started getting the online pass bug after getting their commendation packs awarded from Live Support. If that's indeed the cause of the problem, then Bioware/EA has a serious glitch in their systems that needs to be fixed.

Really hope Bioware would take this issue more seriously, if it was a free to play game I might be able to understand that the resources are limited or something else, but since we all paid real money for the game... It's just bad.

at least in my case, this just started less than a day ago, and it doesn't always say online pass needed, some times it tells me that the EA servers are not available. EA support is of no use in helping. There doesn't seem to be any clear cause, I didn't do anything different than normal, and also it seems like there are other people that are having this issue that started yesterday around the same time.

Well, clockwork spectre, 3-4 weeks ago, that happened to me.. it was on and off, so i paid no heed, but then now its here on and squatting on my ME3 like a damned ticket collector, when i alrdy bought the ticket.

Flying Spagetti Monster, I tried emailing that me3account email guy, last week.. they nvr bothered replying and my 2nd mail yesterday had the same result.

Seems like they are really trying to ignore the issue then.

I just PM'd Chris Priestly about the issue, really hope he does something. If he just ignores the message... Well then I'm kinda out of options, guess I'll have to start looking for a new game then. Maybe Diablo 3?

Tried about everything so far, but this is just poor customer support.

I pm'd Chris yesterday afternoon as well and he said he would contact the EA server guys, but that was the last I heard. Unfortunately since it was the end of the business day, and it is the weekend nothing will probably happen, which sucks cause we are getting screwed out of the weekend event.

Lol diablo 3? its just as bad, server issues cropping up. Granted its better this week, but ah.. this weeks highlights are acct jacking at diablo 3. So in management terms, still questionable.. I still rather play ME3... guns always make my day.~..well until this cropped up..

Yeah, after the patch I was briefly able to play a few games, then the said it couldn't connect to EA servers and still can't.
