It all started about 3 weeks ago when everyone was getting the online pass issue shortly after the conclusion of Operation Exorcist. At the same time people were reporting that they weren't receiving their commendation packs from the weekend's operation, and were told to contact Origin Live Support to have their packs handed to them. I believe it was confirmed somewhere that the online pass issue was linked with the commendation pack issue somehow, but I'm not sure.
Well, a couple of days later everyone was once again able to login to multiplayer (me included), some still missing their commendation packs and others not. I contacted Live Support and had them award the commendation pack to my account. A few hours later I was once again being asked to redeem or purchase an online pass when trying to access multiplayer, and the issue has persisted since. I tried contacting Live Support about 5 times and always got some wacky answer like repair installing/reinstalling the game, which I did (repair installed, then uninstalled+reinstalled the whole game, did same for Origin), and obviously it didn't work since the problem isn't on my harddrive (heard it's a verification issue with the EA servers).
At about the same time, threads like these started to appear, I wasn't the only one who got the issue for a second time, and finally, a couple of days later Bioware responded that if you're having an issue like this, your account is most likely banned. They told everyone with the issue to contact me3accountadmin@bioware.com to inquire about their account status.
I sent an email on 8.5, and got verification that my account is NOT banned, but that they found a slight "irregularity" which causes me to get the issue. Then I sent another email on 16.5 since the issue hadn't yet been fixed, and they told me that they are "still investigating". Come on, it's been half a month since I sent my first email. Considering the time that has passed since my first email and the fact that the issue has been fixed for the majority of the players (even for those who got the online pass issue for a second time after they had fixed it the first time), I don't think they are ever going to do anything about my problem.
One more thing, my account appears to not connect to Galaxy at War at all, which means that my galactic readiness in single player is sitting at 50% constantly, and I don't have the extra war assets from my promoted multiplayer characters (I have tested raising my galactic readiness with the iphone datapad app, the galactic readiness updates on the website in my multiplayer manifest but not inside the game). So yeah, single player isn't that much fun either without the readiness/assets.
Something I also find weird is since it says that I need an online pass to access the online features of the game, the game still authorizes my DLC correctly. But I won't touch single player until I have my readiness/assets.
Just wanted to get this off my chest since they announced this weekend's operation, it'll be the second one I miss if they don't fix my issue in time. But again, what's the point if they don't even care?
I'm playing on the PC and I paid 69.90€ for the digital deluxe edition which isn't working as it should.
