Ok, so here's the problem:

If any of you own a Nvidia graphics card, you may or may not be aware of a rather nasty bug that causes the whole PC to BSOD.  The attempt to reset the graphics display and recover from timeout would fail.  I've tried practically EVERYTHING and nothing gets rid of it.  I've disabled Windows Aero by picking a high contrast theme, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers even through the registry, I've installed older drivers, I've tried using compatability mode, nothing works.  NOTHING.  And it drives me nuts when I crash in the middle of a MP session and lose all my hard earned credits and XP (That in itself is a stupid issue, but ill save that for another thread)

What is strange about this problem, however, is that it ONLY happens if post-processing effects are enabled.  I've tried this on another game, and I've played it for weeks on end with zero crashes.  Before, it would crash every 15-30 minutes because of how poorly the game is coded, but when I turned them off I had no crashes whatsoever.  From what I've seen on error reports and looking around, this seems to be a software issue, not likely to be a hardware one.   And while I don't have the knowledge to open up the Nvidia drivers, figure out what's wrong and fix it, I can at least do a work around and somehow turn off post-processing effects.

What I want to know is: How exactly do I disable post-processing effects in Mass Effect 3?  My only guess is to disable all the graphics options and I have a feeling that won't work.

There is a configuration utiltiy in the game directory if you run that you can turn off most of the stuff. What driver are you using?
