Oh believe me, you have no idea how much I'm with ya on that.  I couldn't care less about score and I couldn't care less about what the score of anyone else on my team is either (meaning if someone is scoring low etc.  Sometimes the lowest scorer provided the greatest overall service!!!).   That's what's hilarious about these people.  They come in the lobby, see my Widow X, call me out, tell me how the BW is so much better, or the valiant is so much better, or blah blah blah, tell me how they're gonna blow me away and take me to school, etc.  I laugh my ass off at players like that and love frustrating them.  And yeah, it does kinda crack me up when I finally see the score at the end of the match and how they didn't even come close, and that they just POOF from the lobby quicker than hell. 

Yup.  Absolutely co-op.  I'll never forget my days starting on bronze, and then silver, and checking my score in between each round and trying to be number one etc. The day I found out that scores didn't mean literally anything, at all, that everything was shared equally, is the day I stopped checking my score in between rounds.  Funny thing though.  From literally that moment forward, from the exact moment I decided I just wouldn't care about it anymore, I became twice as good.  That's why I so often when guiding people in gold tell them stop looking at it inbetween rounds.  It serves no other purpose than to make you try harder than you should, shoot faster than you otherwise might, or overall do things more out of impulse than sense, just for sake of trying to best whoever is in front of you.

Probably because good ones blow his score away so he can't be number one and brag about it.  Probably also why he actually suddenly "likes this one", since he was able to still boast superiority afterwards...

He was using a widow. If he had a BW he would have come closer to outscoring me. He was also a quarian using sabotage as opposed to ED. I just liked him becase he had a mic and was friendly.

You really have an incorrect perception there with the Widow vs Black Widow.  No black widow has outscored me yet, ever.  I can say that looking to the heavens and swearing on my life.  So why are you so convinced the Widow is sub par?

Tech burst with OL and ED spamming puts biotics to shame on fbwgg and requires no effort. TS full chain OL and SE chain ED both 200% cd. Nothing will get close. In fact you dont even need to fire a gun.

Biotics have a terrific edge due to the cramped quarters of the room. Tech burst spammers aren't really helping much (if you want to have a biotic friendly experience) if you are having to constantly double or triple throw to set off BEs. Things can get a bit messy if there isn't an infiltrator to tackle mission objectives, and the team doesn't have a clue of how to handle this. I was on a team one time with out any of the tech classes and my HS just went to town with my unfettered BE's. Having an efficiency buff equipped makes it all the more easy.

Geth farming on firebase white is an anomaly and you shouldnt infer anything from scores with regards to overall class effectiveness in the wider game.

It's quite clear that points mavens play a different game to the rest of us. Infiltrators have always been annoying- almost as much as the uni-powered decoy/grab campers who then complain the game is too easy while the rest of us are taking the heat.

Because he is got butthurt when a good infly outscored him. But don't mind his/her opinion in anything, because he/she said it in some thread he/she do not farm. And here... 


And look at the times: generaly 30ish mins. I can do a FWBGG in 23-24 with a good team. 

I'm looking forward the day when he/she moves on to the next game, so we won't have to listen to his stooopid stuff.

It took you 26 minutes to beat it?
I would not call that very efficient farming, hell in a random lobby with some decent players it is possible to clear anybody/anymap in 24 and less and if i play with people from my friend list its go to 20.
What l wanted to say your farming fails and i will get more money than you by having fun. Also L2P LOL u bad etc...

There are plenty of other viable uses of the class, beyond sniping.  You don't have to take the "sniper damage" upgrades for the passive and tactical cloak.  Beyond that, I think a lot of people don't love playing with infiltrators because they don't draw aggro, which means there's more aggro for the non-infiltrators to deal with.  I was in a random game today with three infiltrators all of which were snipers, holy hell did I have to kite.

lol, you got hung out to dry. If there is more than one, even on silver, I'm leaving. Its just not worth it. What is the fun of hiding the whole game because my teammates are using me as a decoy?

i'm sorry: on silver?! if you are going down on silver after playing successful gold matches - for any reason - you aren't doing i right. silver is easy by comparison.

as for your op: biotic explosion do kill mobs quicker - that's not surprising, but an infil or engineer can take out priority targets/distract some enemies, which is why it's a team effort and everyone plays their part.

I chuckle at people claiming their infiltrators, or other tech classes, are so awesome when they're head shotting everything I Stasis or soften or tech bursting what I warp, while they use me as a decoy.

Best way to deal with an them is to play Human Vanguard, or a class with shock wave right next to them. :evil:

People who brag like this tend to be above average at best. I'm fairly confident I know some guys who will ruin you with any class versus your Widow. Hell, you could even pick.

These days I only play gold with AA. I'm becoming obsessed with biotic explosions. It's quite amazing how quickly one Adept can take down an Atlas or Prime.

It may have been the intention of the class but there's such thing as adaptation. Infiltrators are a lot more mobile now as they're usually stuck with the burden of getting the rest of the team their money in objectives.

Yes i'm amazed too. A couple days ago i had a match with a very good adep, and all i could hear was the BOOOOOOOOMM BOOOOOOOMMMM. It was like a heavy artillery. I wasn't mind tho, i'm not like this ikelbab dude, to get offended by someone better than me. He made a reaper run easy. BOOOOMMM BOOOOM banshees gone... BOOOOMMM BOOOOOM ravager? Gone....
