Well, and he wants in on the action, don't be such a prude. If we're currently flirting, I'm assuming "sex" here looks like the nightly events in Fight Club (No, not the ones with Marla, the ones with the boobdude).JabberJaww wrote...

I don't think it's a question of can it be done so much as should it. IMHO, no, it shouldn't. The "ZOMGWTFBBQ I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD" plot device is horribly overused.

This.
They'd have to go to pretty strenuous lengths to explain how Duncan survived an axe chop to the head and how he made it off the battlefield even though the front lines were overwhelmed.
The king is dead. Duncan is wounded and exhausted--and weaponless, having left them in the dead ogre. He sees the beacon lit on the tower, but realizes that Loghain isn't there--the Grey Wardens have been betrayed. The GWs are being decimated in front of his eyes. That's a pretty tight spot to get out of.
Somebody upthread mentioned Wynne escaping, but she wasn't on the front lines as the king and GWs were. There was time enough for combatants in the rear to realize that all was lost and to flee. The game itself references people being at the battle and surviving on several occasions--one off the top of my head (aside from Wynne) is the knight in Denerim who recognizes you as a GW, who says he was there and blames you for the death of his friend. So I don't think Wynne's survival proves anything with regard to Duncan.
Besides, I highly doubt that you'll find King Cailan's armor just sitting on the battlefield, waiting for you to come along and pick it up! I wouldn't be surprised if the upcoming DLC was basically a hunt for the various pieces.

They never found Bryce's body either you know.
Fear the coming of Zombie Bryce, commanded by Zombie Duncan, along with Zombie Harrowmont and Zombie Bodhain (not really a zombie but this way he can grab all the loot).

Darn it, I always tumble into flirtations accidentally...first you say you like my hair, and then next thing you know you are ninja-attacking me at camp because I love Alistair and said 'such things" to you!! I knew you'd just get all crazy on me if I jumped into this thread with you.

Morrigan said she saw Darkspawn dragging surivivors underground. The small possibility Duncan survived, perhaps sensing he is a Warden they spared his life and are currently using him for some dreaded purpose

This is actually a reason I hope he did not survive, as much as I am sad that he died. The only thing I think that would keep him from seeking the PC and Alistair out if he survived would be that he was captured and unable to do so and what the darkspawn do...would be much, much worse than death.

Well, in the past they captured Wardens to help them discover old gods, but that would set the stage for yet another blight in the sequel, which I doubt will happen.JabberJaww wrote...

Im thinking there could be something found in the Return to Ostagard DLC that may hint to that... it would then be up to you to either rescue or discovery what exactly they are using him for... i keep thinking of the broodmother and how they used a dwarf girl.
