i was very satisfied with my ending. i had the child with morrigan, had alistair execute loghain(i felt bad after liking him so much in the stolen throne), and my pc finished off trhe archdemon. holy crap that fight is hard!!!! i know some disagree, but it was for me. i liked the epilogue. i really hope some dlc comes out that can take place after the ending. like a mini expansion. maybe a few npcs, like alistair, wynne, and oghren, stick around and can come out to fight the fleeing darkspawn with the pc. doesn't NEED voice acting. just text dialogue and some choices. maybe a new item or two. i think it would be cool. it would kinda be like how throne of bhaal takes place after you beat irenicus in bg2.
what a great game! there was a nice balance between dialogue, fighting, and travelling. bugs were at a minimum for me, other than the 1.01a patch not working.
second playthrough is a human mage. should be fun. first was a dual wielding dalish elven fighter.
my thoughts after beating the game....

I don't think there can be "after the end" DLC because plenty of us have killed our main characters. So likely all the DLC will be of the "rewind" kind. Which is fine by me. I'm happy for any excuse to go back to Ferelden, whatever the time line.

looks like bioware found a way around character death. there's always a way. if you killed your char, make a new one. for those of us killing alistair or doing the baby thing with morrigan, bring in your pc.

I will personally start a new character for every DLC, I hate the loading of an epilogue save to visit a DLC thing. Not very immersive for me, which is what RP is mainly about imo.

understood, but i like the continuity of the character. to me, creating a new character hurts immersion since they have little vested in the outcome of the region. my pc went through everything and now is doing more as opposed to a new guy from another place trying to help a bunch of people he doesn't know.
