I personally find that Red, Green, and Blue all have their merits and problems, but that each one is a perfectly valid choice that a sane person could choose.

Oh dear, now I'll get terrible flak from all three sides of the debate.

Politeness? Directed at a person with different opinions? Unbelievable.

That may be so (given that there's no other way since they're all crap), but it's not something a sane person would present as final choices of a 100+ hour trilogy (IMO).

Must be something similiar to not hitting a person with glasses maybe...

You are a very lucky person.

I strongly disagree, but I'm happy you can enjoy the game :)

I actually detested the game, and the endings, in terms of quality. But ideologically, I agreed with all the endings.

Oh, in that case, I'll just back away slowly... Synthesis and Control in particular make me feel ill.

I think I can agree to a certain degree...

The fundamentals of the options are not bad per se, yet the presentation is just outright terrible. Not to forget the tacked on hook to the red pill...
As someone else once put it, the options should have their distinct own merits, especially blue and green, instead of being a choice between disaster a), B) and c).
Heck, as I mentioned in some survey on the whole thing, one way for BW to do things right would be to de-ja-vu the whole thing with better presentation and all, and eliminate the "downside" to red as is present by linking it to TMS, as the bonus attached to that seems to heavily imply anyway.

Hope that's vague enough to not be considered a spoiler.

Meaning the bonus red ending cutscene that you get with high EMS should be expanded on?

Green is pure nonsnese. The idea of blue is interesting, but it's so horribly implemented that I have trouble taking it seriously.

So red is the only real option for me.

Precisely.
In fact, it would be the easiest way to satisfy most anyone if they went from there.

I've heard about the whole issue that it is not attainable without workarounds with just the SP campaign, yet apparently they are "looking into it" as per Priestly's words. So I do not think it is the last we have heard of that.

FWIW, Chashan, there were a couple of Patrick Weekes tweets that implied Bio was doing pretty much what you're proposing.

You know, I'd thought that in nearly three months people would have gotten that stick outta their rump, but I don't know, this is heading south fast....

Implications mean little; they implied plenty of things prior to ME3's release, after all.

I have. I am now attempting to beat others to death with it.

True enough.

I'd be just as happy if that scene got cut altogether. Easy for me to say; since all my Sheps find red morally unacceptable anyway, it won't change my game whatever they do.
