Codes are in, the other DLC downloaded fine, what's up with these two items?

I had problems downloading both too. From the main menu select Downloadable Content. After typing in the code select it from the menu, and download it. Don't exit the download screen till it's done. This is for 360

Doesn't work for me. Every time I select downloadable content, I get sent here. End of story, nothing else. I'm about to give them a really nasty email.

It looks like they're pretty big, they're downloading slow. (tab out and check your network activity in the task manager to see if anything is actually going on.)

I downloaded the stone prisoner add on that came with the game (for ps3), but I can't find a way to actually play it? Any advice? I know this may be a stupid question but this is my first bit of dlc. Thanks.

heck i dont even see where to buy the wardens DLC i look and it says 7 bucks but there is no buy clicky. where do i purchase it?

There are lots of problems with the extra items and DLC at the moment. Just be a little patient and let Bioware fix whatever is messing this up.

for shale go to sulchers pass and get golem control rod then follow quest i didnt do it yet

hit the circular refresh in game. i had to do that then it started DLn

I had the same issue. Both came up & the DL timed out after a while. After that, you should be able to see them again and click on each one to DL them. I think I clicked on another tab then came back to the DL tab to get them to refresh.

they qued up for me in the ingame panel. I was playing while they DL'd.

.... yeah I applied the code for shale and when I went back into the game it showed it as downloadable content but only if I pay for it using points. Before I put in the code nothing showed as downloadable content, this is alittle messed up I thought these things were suppose to be free with the pre-order and the collector's edition. If it makes a difference I pre-ordered the collectors edition.

same problem, mine aren't downloading but they are listed under available content for me to buy. I already bought them with the deluxe steam version. I'm dissapointed in bioware, you think they would have been prepared for this.

I successfully downloaded and installed one add on "The lucky stone" which was one redeem code by itself. The next redeem code I used gave me an website error at first entry, i refreshed the site and reentered the code and restarted dragon age.



Once I restarted the game i went to downloadable content and watched all of the remaining add on download to 100 % but they did not install!! They just sat there at 100% and the required version was colored in red (1.0) like there was an issue with the version.



I contacted EA and while i waiting in line for an hour (lol) I tried using the clear download cache function in the setup options. The first two tries did nothing for me and I still had the same issue. Finally I got the chance to explain the situation to a customer support agent and he said "okay" then disconnected the chat session !!



At this point i wasn't going to wait in line again so I sent the problem via email along with some screen shots of downloadable content screens, I figured they would get back to me in a day or so, so just for kicks I did the clear download cache option again restarted Dragon age and it started working !!



I don't know it was me or EA support who did but I finally got them installed !!

I've entered the redeemcode of the stone prisoner for pc and the blood dragon armor of course. Dragon armor was pretty quick in downloading while the stone prisonner is still at 0% after a week now. any ideas?

go check the tech troubleshooting forums. There is a sticky for DLC.

edit: Clearing the download cache did the trick , it now dloads at a nice rate ill have the stone prisoner within minutes.
for those who have the same problem and stumble here : configuration => repair => clear download cache

If your net framework service isn't on, you are not receiving the download, more than likely.



Go to run, type: services.msc



And find your net frame work. If it isn't started, then it is stopped. Make it start, refresh to make sure it is staying on, and not just winking out. If it winks out, you'll need to use a cleaning tool I can refer you to.
