Also, since it’s been probably at least 100 pages since it was last broached: on FFN, Visitors is the stat you want to look at. It’s the number of unique visitors in the last 24 hours—so if one person goes to read a chapter and reloads it 5 times the same day, you have 1 Visitor, but 5 Views (or Hits, if that name still shows somewhere). That, of course, still leaves those who come back to the chapter days or weeks later, and will show up as ‘duplicate’ Visitors. Apparently a few people do that(Edit: I actually don’t understand at all why there are 4-5x Hits vs. Visitors. I don’t see why you’d reload the page. Dunno.
I also still suspect that all Visitors might not be getting added for short chapters because of some kind of a timer…but can’t verify. I just see some dips in the shorter ones in comparison to their predecessor and successor. This could also be people not revisiting those chapters as much as the longer ones, too, so.

Guys, quick question,
Do you find your tainted because of Mass effectn and the awesome world and characters and great voice acting and everything that made Mass Effect great.
I am so tainted that finding any other video game has been imposible. Im looking forward to the rebooted TOmb Raider but it's sic months away.
I mean there just is no other game I can get into. I drive the guys at EB ganes insane in my constant search. Ive tried Sky rim, character creation turned me off. I tried Risen two, graphic and voice acting turned me off. I tried Dues Ex which I dont really care about the main character. Ive tried Witcher just cant get into it. Bioshock series was bleh.
I want something where I can create my character (A strong female lead cause, well just cause) have a couple companions and go adventure and I have great choices and the voice acting is good... I want a bioware game... they need to come out with them in one shape or form at least once a year. I guess this is why I turned to writing cause I just can not find anything. My husband is ready to throttle me cause Im driving him insane.
I guess until Dragon Age 3 comes out or some new stuff (Omega DLC maybe) comes out Ill just be mopping around my house miserably
I know what you mean about enjoying story better than playing competitively... I usually search for games that have a story that I find very compelling. Skyrim is a good game for choice, but they screwed up on most of the quests (none of them being greatly immersive, unlike it's predecessor, which I found had a great story.) The only other game series whose story I truly enjoy would be the Halo series. It's not a game where you make choices like Mass Effect, but I've always found it interesting, and got rather attached to the characters. (coincidentally it's also the only game series I didn't join late. I don't know if that affects it...). With the new company taking over, the story is actually taking a lot more importance too, so there's not many plot holes left over or anything of that like.

This is one area where I've been lucky. I have an EXTREMELY high tolerance for replaying games I love. Played ME1 and 2 six times each... once with each class. Played ME 3 four times through so far. Will eventually do the whole six. Played Dragon Age: Origins/Awakening a number of times I won't repeat here because it's so insane no one would believe it anyway (if you feel like guessing, I'd suggest taking your guess and adding six. Probably be closer to the neighborhood
I was enjoying Skyrim, but stopped playing it when ME3 came out. And when I tried to go back to Skyrim, something went wrong with my PS3. For some reason, any time I enter deep water, the game freezes. And since some quests require going though an underwater area to complete, and since crossing rivers through the water is usually easier than going around to the nearest bridge, I just can't play it anymore. Wish I could.
But I admit I am spoiled by Bioware games. There are a few others I could definitely get into, but my standards were set much higher because of DA: Origins and Mass Effect.

*Spoiler - Just in case you don't want to know*
They find that his brain activity is off the charts, ten times the average human. They also find that his body is improving, even though none of the synthetic augmentations are designed for this. For some unknown, it is like Shepard will leave to the age of 300+.
*End of Spoilers*
Basically I need help with giving valid reasons for this and to some degree making it sound realistic (in the realm of ME). Any help would be appreciated. =)

Cellular regeneration is (reasonably) simple to observe—cells die in the body constantly—but it would require a prolonged study to gauge the rate. And, of course, even then you can only stipulate that ‘if they continue to function at this rate’ (or on some curve). Nanotech is a good magic wand, though the same caveat applies.
Or what about simply finding a data cache about the Lazarus project (or whatever the cause, if known), that explains some of the science offscreen?

@fainmaca: I don’t think they should be able to make an accurate estimate. ‘Longer than normal’, ‘twice as old as your average human’, something like that. You might also want to bring in an outside expert to consult.

Danke. That helps a lot. Just by including certain key words has got my mind racing back to biology A-Levels (Good fun! =P) I'll wiki some new developments in medicine as well. More detail the better. =)
Not sure if directed at me, due to wrong name but I don't care. haha. (Maybe you were confused due to the Geth avatar, or not?)

In theory I have. In theory i haven't XD.
You can check here for what I've done. I'm thinking on doing a sequel however which invovles one or two plot twists that I may pull off if I have the skill to do it XD

There are a few, yeah. Check the All the Fanfic thread in my signature.
Edit: just so I’m clear, by no means let that stop you…
Edit2: whoever had problems with Skyrim and water, you should try one of the water mods from the workshop (or is that not available on PS3?)

Yeah, I would say I'm somewhat affected. I played Assassin's Creed Revolution mid way and just had to return to ME 3. At the moment, I can't seem to touch other games. Or haven't tried to. So when I'm free, I'm just pottering around the fanfic, ME 3 MP, books and other stuff.

Events conspired as I was ruminating on Liara’s half-hanar sister, and some “inspired by true events” [sic] movie was left playing as I flipped channels…

I cant even remember what I was playing before ME3 came out. I think we can call it withdrawl. My husband laughs at me and makes fun of me for being such a fanatic, specially since Ihave never been fanatic about anything ever in my life. He keeps trying to get me into another game and honestly I try but theres always something wrong and I cant get into them. Im not saying they are bad, I think Im just saying that crappy ending aside, theres is nothing out there as well put together as a Bioware game.

Withdrawal is right. *nods* I've been trying to get back in SWTOR but ended up cancelling the subscription. I've played Max Payne 1 & 2, thought I'll get 3 but didn't. Just seem to have lost the taste. Now I'm not even sure I would get the next Lara Croft game, though I was looking forward to that one. Including Thief 4.
Thinking about them now just... well I guess I'm just tired.
P.S. Decided to watch this B5 Ending .. and I cried because I lived those 5 years with these charcs. How they had lived, evolved, how much they went through and in the end, those who survived, lived to forge a new age. And I'm happy because it was shown how much those races had further themselves millennia after. Positive. No stupid shillying, dallying, vague ****. Firmly and positively,

Headcanon the ending.
We shouldn't have to. But it's the only way to get closure for the characters.
Edit: Well the most of them.

The worst, imo.
You're lucky you can watch B5 at any time presently. Back then, I had to wait for each season, unbearable, waiting and speculating madly where the chars were going, what was going to happen. It just twist and turns.
I've never found any SF series to surpass it. It has remained the only SF series to make me run the scale of emotions.
Anyways, going OT. Back to FF!
