"If you go to Zada Ban, you will die." Sound familiar, anyone?
Also @Yuri, thanks for the info! Now I won't look uninformed with my silly volus flying spaghetti monster worship. OOOH! What if I have Shepard and co walk into a temple to Zada Ban, and see that it is just the flying spaghetti monster? what do you guys think?

Hehe, that in another life forms beliefs, they actually DO believe in the flying spaghetti monster? Worth a punt for a giggle I'd say. Could make for some humorous dialogue, speaking with the 'god'.

Ah. Me again eh? Do many here use AO3? Is it just me, or are the AO3 readers just less likely to leave a comment/review? Makes me think the 'kudos' function is a double-edged sword, that yea, it makes it easier for users just to click to say 'I liked that', but could make people lazy in regards to leaving a comment/review.
I was actually thinking the same thing, as I checked up on my story the other day. I see all these views, get a few "kudos," but nary a single remark.
Pros and cons to the system, I guess. I'm hoping I get more feedback on the next story, if I ever get around to uploading it, haha.

@ Yuri: It might help to add drama/action from the POV of the agents, like if someone had to evade baddies or complete a contract kill before reporting in.
If you are trying to keep it Liara's POV, perhaps have her recall the mission to kill the Shadow Broker, or some close shaves when she was still tracking the Yahg down.
Basically pepper in an action scene here or there between reports. I pretty much did this on my story. I had an "in media res" battle scene initiate the events, then stepped back on the next chapter for setup/etc.

@ Stoob: Nice, she a Breton? They have my fave stats, but I like playing Redguards! I long since stopped wondering what goes on in the minds of the pour souls in that game...all the mods and armor I subject that game to, haha
She's a hardy Nord (despite the clothing...) hehe. Funnily enough, I did do a short silly vid of Lydia venting in dance on this subject...

slightly different subject, regarding actiony bits *frowns* i'm actually very scared to try writing anything action-based and have it come out well. I mostly read drama and romance stories... generally if it's tagged as action i'm not interested. so i'm really scared of trying to do action and do it justice.
also nervous about my first Tali cameo. my story takes place 20 years after the end of ME3, and I have Tali and Garrus living together with adopted children. but her being a stern mother and arguing with a rebellious daughter, while it was fun to write, i'm not sure will seem very in-character... *frowns, ponders*
@stoob: did I just give you a new obsession? nekomimi maids? *grins* because that's too funny! sometimes I wish I had skyrim on computer so I could play with mods and stuff. I would love love love to have my character run around in a nekomimi maid outfit. though prolly with a skirt... *eyes Stoob* perv... *grins* but I seriously doubt this thing could handle skyrim. it doesn't even meet the requirements for TOR or StarCraft 2. and there are some sketchy mods out there. last time I paid a surprise visit to my friend Mike he was playing skyrim, and almost every female NPC I saw was walking around 100% nude... like without even the bra/panties default for unclothed characters. *shakes head* boys... seriously...

Just go with what you know. Some may like it, some may not. As long as YOU like it, and can be pleased with it, you can't go too wrong. I've found that everything appeals to SOMEBODY.
Heck, looking back on some of my initial fiction is embarrassing, but I don't regret posting it up for others to see.

I think that's the one pickpocket perk in that game I have serious issues with. I don't care how good a thief was, I think I'd notice if someone stole my pants and shirt....

On a more relevant slant, has anyone got any good nick-names for Miranda? Something that's mildly derogatory -but not overly so (she is my story Shep's LI after all)- and Joker friendly (ie sounds like something he would say). I'm currently going with 'Ice Queen' but it doesn't feel right, see below (also spoiler alert for any one reading my stuff):
Shepard fixed his eyes on his glass, “She wasn’t there Joker – she must have left before I went through the Relay.”
“Right,” Joker sceptically drawled out, “My advice – don’t try that with Brooks. Cortez’s report mentions a shuttle leaving the ship and heading for the Mass Relay – before you, Oyer, and the marines all returned. So unless some other Cerberus flunky talked you into letting them go, I’m guessing it was the Ice Queen.”
Shepard swore then said, “Could have been Jacob.”
“You told me that Leng **** said he’d gone AWOL,” Joker stated, “it was Miranda – and before you embarrass yourself further, EDI told me they’d talked.
edit: Sorry bioware I forgot to edit the 'a*****e' bit out - nice catch on your part though.

Little Miss Friendly/Sunshine? I'm guessing Joker would go for something sarcastic rather than literal, and probably with regards to her demeanour.
p.s. I think there should be a comma between 'there' and 'Joker' in that first sentence.

On Miranda, I've just started an idea of Miranda's journals during the ME2 campaign, writing to an imaginary mother, just thinking out loud as t'were about her life and thoughts on it all. It's only short so far but been fun to write. Always had a soft spot for Miranda, even though she was a pain in the ass. There's lots of emotional mileage to be had from the ladies of Mass Effect, in my opinion, more so than the chaps, who are pretty 1d, Mordin aside.

Ah, Mordin's loyalty mission. Best mission of the series.MrStoob wrote...
Thus far, I've just gone with Jack's classic 'Cheerleader', though at one point Chakwas refers to her as 'our ample bottomed friend'. In mine, Miranda secretly doesn't really mind 'Cheerleader' as it's about the first nickname from staff without '****' in it (female dog).
