The first and second may be factual, but a single designer plus some of that team team does not equate to running the show. And Endgame may not be the the goal for everyone; could be the journey to getting there.

My point being that Old Republic is doing exactly what Warhammer did. Started out strong and went nowhere with it. I don't care if you like TOR in it's current state but Mythic has a history and not a good one. Look at Ilum Biomythic did a terrible job.

Endgame is the goal for a lot of people. Nightmare raids are a joke for people. 1.2 Raids were cleared in 3 hours while Yogg'Saron 0 was cleared once? Not sure but I could count on one hand how many times is was cleared. Over 50% of players Pvp while leveling and endgame pvp that's a pretty big deal and yet their commitment to buff/nerf classes with out using the data from test servers really helps to unbalance it.

At least Bioware admits it messed up.

The last is total conjecture. Maybe this was or was not the brains of some other PvP system; may have nothing to do with the results seen in either other game. And where is DAoC today?

DAoC is barely hanging on. EA as everyone knows will squeeze a dollar from anything they can. Several notable developers from DAoC and Ultima Online (also owned by EA) such as Matt Firor and Paul Sage are working on Elder Scrolls Online even and in important positions too.

And even if the entire Bioware Austin team were former Mythic folks, this does not equate to your review of failed PvP, crafting, TOR as a whole, etc as factual. It is seemingly the biased opinion of one MMO wanderer. And considering the admissions of prior 'PvP experiences, not being able to repeat those in TOR is apparently a good thing.

Did I ever say it was a fact? It's my opinion that goes without saying the way you think TOR is innovative even though it hasn't done anything any other MMO hasn't already. Voice acting has been done. Elder Scrolls and Secret World will also be fully voice acted. I was also an avid pvper in my DAoC/Ultima days so please don't talk. I can probably play your class better than you my point was Old Republic is following the same pattern Mythic Entertainment MMO's have faced before which is why it doesn't give me much hope. I bet there will be people who cling onto the game ofcourse but eventually it will be a shell just Dark Age of Camelot, Ultima Online and Warhammer Online.

Never said there weren't flaws, but the ship ain'i sinking like some like tp profess. And 1.3 million Players and more coming this Summer would seem to suggest that the direction is not so bad.

PvP is getting attention; too much of it possibly, but I am still happy with the PvE content. And as Ilum is mainly about special crystals to me, still have not needed to visit yet. For now, there is plenty of final content for my Darth Sorcerer, and PvP is not in the immediate plans.

You continue to speak as if your opinion is fact (eg; "went nowhere", "did a terrible job", "as everyone knows", etc); bias appears to taint objectivity. I know I am pro-Bioware, but do not try to deceive others as to the facts.

So the full VO for each class has been done before? Then I must wonder why all the pre-launch curiousity if it would work. And I would guess almost anyone could play in PvP better than myself, but as one that reads the dialogue before making choices, I would at least reconsider the declaration that your class play is superior.

Thing is, I do want this to succeed; not only for Bioware, but also because it is in Austin. Better than the ranting seen here and on the TOR forums for failure.
