I hope there will be a patch for it and I think they have hinted at a future patch that should fix among others the reave sound effect. I think the magnetic banshees are caused by a lag issue and apparently the host does not experience this issue, so I don't know if they can fix it.
I'd personally remove the instakill altogether. Banshees are powerful enough without it.

I was wondering when i would find a post like this, yes me and more people at least in the friends i play with, would love a fix for this, its ridiculous that she is so far and far away and we are being magnets to her floating to her arms...its just ridiculous!
