I do not plan on promoting, I have fun playing my max out chars, I do not want to re-do a character to level them up faster. That is boring. Boring is not fun.

Video games are supposed to be fun.

I completely agree, I only bothered promoting at all because I had those character cards to put to use, spending 3 mil credits at once to instantly re-level your characters is definitely the way to go. And of course, free gun for having done it.

For me at least, each time I promote and re-level a character, I tweak the powers/weapons to be more effective for gold (hopefully). Once the DLC is out, I'll probably promote some more and re-evaluate their builds.

Promoted my 3. Planning to leave them at level 1 'til I spam PSPs (I suspect the Rebellion specific pack will be delayed again) on Tuesday. Might promote 1 or 2 more Sunday evening, and leave one level 20 for actual play for Monday.
