I was thinking the same as you, but i'm not sure that the MP data will stay once they discontinue supporting the servers...
If i'm not mistaken, if you try to play SP with no internet connection the MP assests don't appear in your SP.
It really sucks cause i love to replay my favorite games every few years, and without that it's almost impossible to get the best ending (to me it's the destroy+breath scene, but to each his own)
I've not actually finished the game yet so that means nothing to me
...That sucks if they really do just take away your War Assets for good, I suppose I'll just have to mod some more back in. I wish they'd leave the ability to at least play solo so I can finish collecting everything long after everybody's moved on, but i'm OCD like that.

I did a total of 7. One from each class, plus an extra Soldier. Now to get them all back up to high level again so when I start unlocking the new characters in the upcoming DLC, I'll be ready to go!

I did my 6, not enough time played to level up and promote again, but I had them all at 20 to begin with

Oh my god i am SO SORRY! I feel like such a giant douche right now! I appreciate you being so cool about it and all, but really, i messed up big time right now...
I don't know, maybe it's not such a big deal to you, but if someone did that to me i would be pretty pissed off, and
rightly so. All i can say now is sorry.
And btw, i disconnected my internet and it still showed me all the MP promoted assets, so i
guess BioWare thought about it before hand, so some good news at least.
And yet again, i'm sorry...
