hi, everyone.
i was thinking about using Arelex DW rogue guide and incorportate a walking bomb setup (yeah, i play on nightmare so FF IS a issue)
just wanted to know if this can be possible.
i did a few test myself, since i ONLY do lv.50 playthrough with a mod that allows it and a other one that make all item lv. up with you, i'm not limited to the gear, i'm just limited to the effect that is on the gear (and, forgot to say, i used a mod that give 3 rune slot on the hawke key... =)) so i am presently at the last boss on MotA.
but i was thinking something like this for the tactics :
on anders :
hawke health => 50% : use condition for next tactic
ennemy rank : Normal or Lower : Glyph of Paralysis
on Merril :
Enemy : Paralyse Walking Bomb
also, i want to use aveline in my team for a lacerate+main/explosive strike setup with staggered target. but on the DW Rogue Guide posted by Arelex, there is no tactic for aveline post-patch. so if someone could give a build for her would be great.
p-s : i'm currently playing on the version 1.04 of the game, and i am on PC (obviously since i use mods).
rogue and walking bomb : how to make that work

I’ve tried walking bomb in loads of situations using tactics setup and found its only a matter of time before the team gets blown up, in the chaos of battle its all too easy to loose track of who’s been infected. (playing nightmare).
The only time I use walking bomb now is manually, usually when all the enemy are clustered at distance, infect the one with low health and then make sure he goes down before your team engage. My favourite is Force Mage where the whole enemy group gets stuck behind Gravitic Ring, loads of time (20 sec) to cast walking bomb and watch the enemy disappear in a cloud of black death.

If you're within the radius you will get hit for 75% of your total health. So as a DW rogue, you would want the trigger to walking bomb to be limited by your melee's health level. Your heals and poultices should trigger after the detonation.

so you're suggesting something like this :
hawke health > 90% : use current condition for next tactics
ennemy attack hawke : glyph of paralysis
ennemy paralysed : walking bomb
??
also if i use spirit resistance rune can i lower the health require to paralyse ennemies to 50% or 75% ?
i'm playing on Nightmare by the way using the Arelex Guide for the version 1.04 of the game,

Youll have to test those tactics in real time to see if they work properly, but they looks sound.
the resistance rune will affect the damage after it has been limited to 75% of your total possible health.

so, can i died from walking bomb if i use it even with spirit resistance rune ?
edit : nevermind i read the changelog of the patch ^^' max friendly fire damage in 1 hit = 75% of health sorry for that.
so, basically all i will have to do is the make anders heal me before i get more hit ? that's it ? (or drink a potion, like you said ^^)

you can limit it prior,
hawke: hp: >75%: uccfnt
enemy: target of hawke: Walking Bomb
so, say its an elite somewhere around lvl 12 thats about 12-1500 hp
WB will do 50% of that at base, so 600-750
bomb goes off > resistance kicks in > 600 x 5%(.05) = 30 no damage limitation on your health is checked.
so if the damage increases at your higher levels you play, it probably will kick in and in that case you will need to apply the limitation tactic to when the bomb will fire.

and that limitation will be the 2 line you've just been posted ? if not, what tactics are you suggesting for this "limitation" ?
p-s : i currently have something like 48 or 49 in constitution and my dex and cun are maxed out, don't know if it will help ^^'
