The link  and the page itself is for DA3.  The review may be for Mark of the assassin, though I don't know enough about the placement mechanics to say whether this is IGN's mistake or Metacritic's.  And neither do you.

The blurb says this: "This is a neat little expansion, well formed and surprisingly well-paced; if you enjoyed the main game, it's definitely worth a download." The link for the whole review leads to IGN's review of Mark of the Assassin. But you are right, I don't know who linked the review to the DA3 page. However, I don't need to know who did it. The mere fact that this mistake can be made is another reason for me to scoff at Metacritic.

Me, I won't kill the messenger. Instead, I'll scoff at IGN for giving MoTA an 85(!).

E3 is in about 2 weeks.

I'm guessing we're going to hear something official then,

As I understand it EA will be present there but BioWare will not.
Can anyone confirm their absence or presence on E3?

I suspect the only people who know anything about it, will not say anything before at the earliest E3.

Wait, if BioWare is there they will be there as/with EA, but I guess we all know that, so is there something else you know?

Ah, but it must be metacritic - IGN would never make a mistake, and has no vested interest in metacritic scores being discredited, because metacritic scores have never made a monkey of IGN reviews for everyone to see.

I, for one, suspect an honest mistake or a metacritic bug, willingly jump to the conclusion that metacritic ratings might not be trustworthy, and resolve in future to check a Proper Review Site first. :)

So EA will speak for all the gaming companies they hold under their umbrella so to speak? Usually there would be a reference to what gaming companies would be present even if they are part of a larger concern. You would think that if there were going to be announcements about games the ones develloping them would talk about them.

wynne's son Rhys would most likely be in the game, either as a companion or as a cameo, betting on the first one.

"Naomi Kyle (from IGN) as narrator and LI are all confirmed." Don't say that like it's a bad thing, because she is quite yummy!

As Ray Muzyka himself is fond of saying, Bioware is  EA.

You act as if EA is one person; a single spokesman for all.  It's not.  It's a huge conglomorate that  will have a huge  Area at the expo.  And within this Area, will be reps for its different products.

This isn't a guessing game.  This is precisely what happened  at Last year's E3,  and the year before's E3.

Oh, oke then. As I posted about nine hours ago this confirms my question then that BioWare will
act from beneath the 'EA umbrella' just like all the other companies who might have something new to
announce that EA owns. If the assumption that you make is correct.

Still wondering though because there hasn't been a peep who will represent Bioware in the EA stand
on E3. Less then 2 weeks to go so there should at least be some rumors.

@ Yrkoon

Saw you edited your post after my reply.

Not meaning to offend you. I know this isn't a guessing game and I'm quite serious here. Been on events like that in another branche as an employee but know how the system works. Usually there will be mention when a bigger company, that owns smaller ones, which smaller ones will attend. This is my point/question here.

1: It will not be exactly like we hoped.
2: It won't be anything at all like what we're dreaming about.
3: It will have flaws.
4: Some people will recognize more of DA2 than they had hoped they would.
5: It will be better than DA2.
6: It won't be as good as DA:O.
7: It won't be a big/long game.
8: But if somebody don't enjoy this game, it's probably more because s/he won't let her-/himself, for psychological reasons, than because of the game.
9: Sales will take off slowly.
10: I'm gonna buy it no matter what (yep, managed to fool myself for awhile, but thats' how it'll go down).

Oh, I'd say #4 most certainly is a bad thing. I'm taking a wait and see attitude with the Next Dragon age. (no more day 1 purchases) And if  within the first couple of weeks after release I start hearing players saying  stuff like "It feels like a polished DA2" or:  "It plays like DA2 but better"  Or:  "If you liked DA2, you'll love this!", then  no,   I  will NOT be buying it.

On the other hand, #7 isn't necessarily a bad thing at all.  I'll take "short but fantastic" over "long and tediously repetitive" any day.

I guessing that it will be as short as they think they can get away with and stick everything into MP
