They won't. Because people would just find a new way to farm (FBDCG). There is only one solution, learn to mind your own business.

I don't hate FBWGG, but I don't do it unless I get it choosing random random in my lobby or a friend's lobby. But that doesn't disprove the fact that OP is trying to justify a pathetic setup.

push 1 button? and what does
infiltrator do? headshot, headshot headshot
soldier: shoot, click ar, shoot more
biotic [with other biotic in team] : warp warp warp or throw throw throw
geth engineer: summon turret ....... resummon turret
Salarian engineer : summon decoy, go get tea, resummon decoy

-bottom line- in "perfect team" you press 1 button most of the time, maybe two
its the chaotic frantic games where you push all possible button and die anyway

Here, have a song

 Traveling in a fried-out starship
On a Hanar trail, head full of zombie
I met a curvy Quarian, she made me horny
She took me in and gave me a BUMwich
 And she said,

"Do you come from a land down under?
Where Banshees glow and Geth plunder?
Can't you see, can't you see the Hunter?
You better run, you better take cover."

Buying tools from a Prime in Brussels
It was ten foot four and full of circuits
I said, "Do you geth-a my level?"
It just piped and gave me a vegemite luncher
 And it said,

"This one come from a land down under
Where credits does flow and the Geth chunder
Can't you see, can't you see the Hunter?
You better run, you better take cover."

Lying in a den in Benning
With no neutral option, thus much less to say
I said to the mods, "Are you trying to ban me
Because I come from the land of witty?"
 And they said,

"Oh! Do you come from a land down under? (oh yeah yeah)
Where Banshees glow and Geth plunder?
Can't you see, can't you see the Hunter?
You better run, you better take cover."

I like your song.

query: What is a chunder?

[EDIT] Got curious and looked it up. Apparantly Australian slang for puking...at least that's what the internet says. But you know how it lies....

How's it a pathetic setup?  Opinion without evidence is just heresay.  As much as people try to make it sounds like FBWGG is the easiest thing in the world, the same people contradict themselves by saying how they have to carry a team and they end up wiping with a lousy team anyway.

The only thing pathetic I see is the sad people who must constantly feel like they're better than everyone else here, day in day out.

Ok - so if FBWGG is a pathetic setup, then suggest a better one!  Make an alternative farming guide.

Be a leecher you mean?  There's no other way to do nothing and get credits in this game.  FBWGG farmers work for their keep just as much as you do for your 75k credits.  And that simple fact burns you, doesn't it?

Actually I regularly sit behind the left corner with my Krogan Vanguard with Barriers and max Health on whenever I get FBW. I just sit there reading a book and only get up for objective rounds or when my team is in trouble.

I call that pretty much doing nothing.

At least you admit you're a leecher mostly and just help out when the team is in trouble.  Honesty appreciated.  You want your credits.

I'm not really a leecher. I play the game normally, I usually try for extraction on Gold below 25 minutes and I am usually succesful in that goal.

Only problem is that I get fed up with getting FBW 10 times in a row and just go with it.

Other times I take my geth infiltrator falcon build and camp upstairs owning the map by my own whilst the other 3 camping campers camp their camp. I've gotten over 200,000 points more than once.

Did I mention how much a good Infiltrator is sometimes under-appreciated here?  I don't get the infiltrator high scoring hate I see here, people wanting to kick Geth infiltrators out of their gold lobbies are crazy IMO.  Still a build I haven't figured out...  tried a GPS shotgun GI, which is supposedly way OPed and I sorta have an idea why, but I can't do it justice.

I'll admit sometimes its nice to bleed out if you have a super in the team, just fun watching them go around.

I find WGG to be a blight because it deters new Gold players. Farmers think they are Gold level players because they can sit in a room for 30 minutes or less. When new Gold players try and start they get thrown into these matches and run into the kickers/abusers who only play for credits. Then we get the complaint topics about elitists and the cycle continues.

To quote myself:

"And more importantly, you ignored my main point - that people who do try and play Gold get booted and have their experience ruined by those people who only play for credits. Anyone who might have the slightest chance of  jeopardizing their chances for precious credits is kicked immediately. If you were playing for fun then you wouldn't care so much about whether some guy doesn't have equipment on.

Everyone on my friends list plays random/random for fun. Always to win but credits are a nice bonus. And strangely enough we have fun and don't need to complain on the board about it."

WGG does not teach you how to play Gold. You don't have to move, learn to avoid flanking, learn to retreat or roll in pairs, work as a team, think on your feet, adapt to new situations and you don't even learn how to play vs 2/3 of the enemies in the game. You don't have to pick and choose your fights, which enemies need to be focused on, how to prevent and deal with instakills, how to deal with shock troopers etc etc. The list goes on.

TL/DR: WGG actively weakens the Gold player pool and degrades people's experiences on Gold. It also teaches you nothing about anything other than the same process over and over. You are not a Gold player. Deal with it.

Maybe this is platform specific?  I don't see a lot of kicking on the PC games, and almost never use any equipment since its not necessary.  They'd have to be very bad/low to get kicked.  Have rolled with many groups that looked like it could be a train wreck, some are, some end up ok, don't really care if its not always 100%.  Maybe its because I'm looking to learn, that makes a difference.

I find that you do learn some of that actually...  you may not learn everything, but skills are skills nonetheless.  Like I said, you got to roll in pairs sans an infiltrator, if you get objective rounds, and the hack objectives often place you in the open.  And if you're mindless killing the horde without regard to which targets to clean off first, then you're really not doing it right.

TL/DR: WGG actively weakens the Gold player pool and degrades people's experiences on Gold. It also teaches you nothing about anything other than the same process over and over. You are not a Gold player. Deal with it.

Does it weaken the pool?  Like you say, most of these are not quite Gold players, so they really shouldn't be considered for the pool.  And I suspect some don't care if they're a Gold player or not, they're just farming it, but others can learn a thing or two from FBWGG even, and contribute to the pool growth in time.

No one that really is into the game that wants to get better is going to stick to FBWGG only.  But you have to accept that the pool of people that are good and willing to play Gold is going to always be a very limited group...  so those thinking FBWGG is a blight are wrong, it doesn't really affect other Gold games.  It keeps the rift rafts from the R/R/G games which is a good thing people should be thankful for actually.

I might quickly just break down your points.

- Understanding of spawn points and knowing where your enemies will spawn/come from you at

No. WGG specifically focuses on letting the enemies spawn on the other side of the map and slowly come to you down very specific paths. The same places every time. You are not learning. On all other maps you need to think "if we are here, where are they going to spawn? ok so we need to go [here] to flank them or [here] to be in a good position." You don't adapt to spawns on WGG. They are the same everytime.

- How to grab kill and use cover effectively

You don't need to 'learn' this. If you can't press O to grab or know how to take cover then....wow.

- Value of an Infiltrator

Infiltrators aren't even in their zone in WGG. They can be much more effective on other maps. A lot of farming maps don't use one.

- Clearing hack zones and moving to hack zones

I have seen many teams getting wiped doing this. Hilarious because I get thrown into the match in progress so I just leave again. Hack zones vs Geth are ridiculously easy because they have no major threats. Pyros are too slow to get close, Hunters can be annoying. But WGG doesn't teach you how to hack vs Reapers when you have Brutes, Banshees and Ravagers on you. That is when you need to learn how to missile.

- Two manning disable objectives

Uh no. Having someone come with you just draws aggro to the hack. White is small enough that one person can do it while the other 3 stay put and draw all fire. If the hacker can't do it without dying then use medigel. On other maps you won't have the luxury of being able to control the spawns to make the hacks easy. You will have to think on the go.

- Weapon choices and mechanics.

Again no. WGG doesn't teach you anything about weapons. Your examples involve equipment. You don't need that on Gold. And the GPS? one of the best guns in the game, you could put it on any class and score well. WGG involves 1 enemy type. Different weapons are good vs different factions. You learn none of this by playing just Geth.

- Value of Tech Bursts/Biotic Explosions

It might teach you how they work but not how and when to use them. Other than Glacier you aren't going to get all the enemies bunching up nicely waiting for you to detonate them. Being good with detonations involves being able to set then off when you are in a tight spot (i.e Hack vs Reapers, over run by Phantoms) or in broken play when you and the enemies are spread out.

- Bubble placement

Again it teaces you one spot. It doesn't teach you how to use the offensive bubble on open maps like Condor, Hydra or even mid maps like Ghost. It is very useful to predict enemy spawns and place a bubble where they might come from. WGG is the same 2 spots over and over because you know 100% of the time where the enemies will come from. Again - you are not learning. I'm still getting better with the bubble - I can score 80-90k on normal maps, 130-140k on White. Does that mean I'm now good because I scored 140k? No, because I know exactly where to put the bubble every. single. time.

- Crowd control

WGG is all crowd control. But it is through dumb AI and spawns, not skill. Actual crowd control is when you are getting attacked from multiple points and you need to lock one side down. The ability to control a group of Phantoms coming from your flank is the type of skill you need, not relying on the AI not to use the back door.

- Teamwork

This is fairly limited. You don't have to do anything other than have 4 people in the building causing some form of damage. The only real team work comes in when you have a hack on the LZ and need to coordinate. Other than that you don't need team synergy. It helps but you don't need it in farming.

So yeah, a lot of your points only teach lessons relevant to WGG. This is not useful for any other Gold, which I assume is what you trying to argue these lessons were good for.

Gold is not that hard. People need to get out of their comfort zones and play other maps and enemies. It won't be some Wave 2 wipe "OMG so hard!" but the rounds after 7 might be difficult when you don't have the skills to adapt to whatever comes your way.

Have you seen the amount of complaint topics on this board? There are so many saying "I got kicked" "Damn elitists" and many people (especially around the challenges) who claim they are never trying Gold again etc. So yes people who potentially could be reliable Gold team mates are instead turned off Gold completely.

My point is that it does affect other Gold games indirectly by limiting the amount of people who could be playing Gold with us. Keeping the riff raff out is the complete wrong idea. We need those people who are inexperienced to actually learn and get better so that they can be useful team mates and have fun on Gold.

How do you think good Gold players got good? By playing Gold. I started off by playing 1 or 2 farming maps (I don't think it was recognised as farming then) and then I just played other maps and enemies. Whatever game I jumped into.
