So I have sucsesfully stolen afew items (at least I get a notice saying I did) but then when I got to my bag and sort by newest, there is no new item? How can I figure out what I stole?

It's usually highlighted in yellow and frequently un-noticed because it stacked along a batch of potions, shards,salves, etc....

example you now have 3 lesser health potions instead of two.

Also, plot items won't appear in the normal inventory, but under the Plot tag.

And, when you acquire an item of the same type, for example, a dragonskin leather helmet, than it won't show up at the top of the list. However, the stack of dragonskin leather helmet will turn yellow.

Open up your inventory and mouse-over any items that are highlighted yellow. Once they're all dark, the next item(s) you pick up will be highlighted until you mouse-over them again.



This way, you'll always know what you got. Money shows on the lower left where Codex updates, etc. show.

Its a realy REALLY annoying aspect of the game that new items and codex entries are left for the player to seek out (okay, sometimes you get a highlight around it but if you don't check everytime, you can't find it out and I'm sorry but when I loot a battlefield of bodies I don't stop to check everytime I pick something up).



REALLY needs to be patched in with a popup that tells you what you stole or recieved from a quest, or an option to read a codex entry you just got.



On the consoles its extra annoying because of scrolling difficulties and no sorting in the lists.

^^This, ld love to see a Patch to consoles that gave us ways to sort our inventories and codexs.

On PC you can click on the 'new codex entry acquired' popup to be sent to that cdex secifically.   Cick 'new item acquired' only opens your inventory without scrlling it to the 'new item'.

That explains something for me. I'm partially colorblind, and can't really see yellow. I never even new there were items being highlighted yellow.
