 Ignore the first post please, I made a mistake. I have some questions about my progress, where I should be in the game, and some advice for the abandoned temple and Umar Hills. My Fighter is currently level 10 and the rest of my party is around that level so is this where I should be in the game? I took the quest from the cowled wizards after Korgan offered me the job to Hunt for Valygar. I believe he's somewhere in Umar? I'm not going to kill him for the wizards but I'm afraid Korgan will leave if I don't look for him, but if I don't kill Valygar and Korgan leaves, I'll try to get Mazzy who is probably in the abandoned temple. Any hints on where I can find Haer'dalis as well? I heard of a band of Ogres' is living nearby (which could maybe point me to finding one of them, or completing a quest) but have no place to find them on my map besides the temple. Also, if I have to continue my quest in the temple, could someone give me some clues on how to get past the Rune Room? (The one where stepping on the rune plates causes a Flamestrike?). Thank you.

There's no right/wrong levels for particular quests. You could do the temple at the start of the game or towards the end.

Korgan & Valygar are not linked in any way... Mazzy starts an implied romance with Valygar during the game then will get upset if he gets hurt (she goes berserk) but doesn’t attack friendly party members like Minsc will.

Valygar is at the top of Umber hills (cabin)... and Mazzy is in the abandoned temple before you get to the spelling room. The bard is in the wizards hideout north area of the temple sewers map... watch out for the four fugs outside & grab the pally (top left corner) while you are there.

FYI I’d ignore the Dragon for now because level 10 just doesn’t cut it.

One thing. I killed the Shadow jailor (In the abandoned temple) like two days ago but I guess I did'nt see the key on the ground. Will the key still be there or what should I do now?

The shadow key should still be there but you can use shadowkeeper to add it to your inventory if you need to.

Press the [TAB] on your keyboard.

p.s. Few things are better than a late game Mazzy with dw weapons.

Hint to finding Haer'Dalis: he's an actor. The 'Five Flagons Inn' in the Bridge district organises theatre plays in it's cellar. Maybe buy a ticket and watch the show there?

I already did that. Got the quest for Haer'dalis but mixed it up with that guy who flays his victims and retreats to Umar.

I haven't followed up on that quest beyond the meeting in Imnesvale.
