DA3, if it comes out, is due around 2014. After DA2 reception and sales, it might not happen(I'd give that about a 5% chance).

Stephen Reid @Rockjaw
I was one of those affected by layoffs at BioWare Austin yesterday. I got to build an amazing team while I was there, and miss them already.
In my opinion DA3 is definitely in the works, though, I'm guessing a 2013 release date.

Don't know when that supposed to take place when you make a game though.
And with what happen with ME3 , ("no A,B,C ending I swear!" ) ,I think it's a good idea they keep quiet until they are sure about what they have to offer...
Because one more publicity cheap tricks , I might buy a fork and a plane ticket to canada and go on a raging fan strike.

They've been quiet about their plans, it's true. I heard some employees have been laid off recently, make of that what you will. From twitter:Stephen Reid @Rockjaw

Yeah I imagine 2013. 2014 seems a long time for an EA RPG, as much as I do want them to polish it.

If I were in that position, I'd never say anything again ever.

Can you blame them for being quiet? Every single word out of Bioware or a Bioware employee is meticulously picked over, analysed, over-analysed, hyperboled, ripped apart, put back together again, gives birth to wild theories about the nature of god and the universe and is eventually declared a broken promise and/or betrayal even one iota of any of the crazy thoughts that it spawned is not in line with the eventual product.
If I were in that position, I'd never say anything again ever.
Agreed 100 %.
I don`t have twitter (or facebook, for that matter, thanks, but no thanks
Other than that,I am honestly only interested in what they have to show and go from there.
I can totally understand them, tbh. Maybe it is because in my line of work,I also have to be superdupercareful to NEVER ever promise anything I can`t deliver,or I will be in deep.....murky waters.Really deep indeed.

I hope it would be no earlier than late 2014. Take your time Bioware, even if you did not rush DA2 and ME3... and since Mass Effect has ended, you are left with only Dragon Age 3. So... you really cannot afford to produce something sub-par.

Bioware hasn't created a single original game since 2009, so I guess the next release will be a multiplayer FPS in the ME world until they figure out how to include multiplayer and microtransactions in a DA game.
Edit: there's also the terrible Warhammer PVP game and the new C&C, that's "Bioware" for you in 2012.

I don`t have twitter (or facebook, for that matter, thanks, but no thanks),but even w/ o these,I do not follow the devs or Bioware in general. What official info they share on the forums or their blog or at PAX,cool - it is fun to go and theorize about the ideas presented there with you fine folks.

Yep yep thirded.
Although being curious by nature, my information comes from the BSN because I do not have access myself to other media like twitter and such and when something is valid I think BW will let it know on here.
As Begemotka stated promises that are invalid in terms of not able to deliver is REALLY bad.
