Every 3 or 4 multiplayer matches I play, my Xbox will freeze up on the 10th or 11th wave, forcing me to hard reboot. I can press the Guide Button when it freezes and I can hear the sound of it coming up but everything else remains frozen and it does not appear. The only thing I've tried is clearing my cache a while back, and I thought that had fixed it until now. I'm pretty sure this hasn't happened in the Singleplayer before, so it might be related to my internet somehow.

I have this same issue. I wish I had found a solution but so far nothing has helped. I've been worried it may damage my system, so I'm taking a break from Multiplayer until the DLC on Tuesday in hopes they fix the issue. It's insanely annoying.

I've ran out of download allowance for my current billing period, so I guess I won't have to worry about it for a couple of weeks, but I'd still like to know what causes this in case it keeps happening. Maybe it has something to do with the supposed Memory Leak in multiplayer menus that will be fixed in Patch 3. I also deleted the corrupted avatar awards, but I won't be able to see if that fixes anything until later.

Happened to me a couple of times this week. It just happened to me a few hours ago. I had to restart my Xbox 360. It sucks.

Same thing happened to me twice in the past 3 hours, it gets pretty annoying when you lose out on everything after going through a gold match. Especially when its during the extraction wave with less than 30 seconds left.

I've been having the same problem. Are you guys experiencing any frame rate issues as well?

If there were on mine, I didn't notice any. I did play two more games today to check out the new maps, and it didn't freeze up. Usually the times it would freeze up, I had been playing for a long period of time, as in the 4 matches I played lead up to the match when it froze, without turning off the Xbox or leaving the multiplayer menu. Maybe my Xbox just needs a break every once in a while, it is getting old.

It started happening to me after the new DLC, never happened before. Really frustrating, trhee times I was in the last wave and if froze. They have to fix this

After downloading the new dlc the game freezes after so many matches. The game has been very unplayable with all the crashes and glitches. Thursday hopefully the game get's fixed with the patch.

This has been happening for a while to me. Maybe the new DLC has caused some stability issues or accentuated the problem for others, like a surge in players testing out the new content by playing consecutive games. The new patch does seem quite the fix for many a problem, hopefully this one included. It does say it will fix a multiplayer memory leak in the menus, and this seems related to it.

Same here. It freezes about every 3-4 matches. It's been happening for the last week or so, even before the rebelion dlc was released. It blows.

I'm freezing since the new DLC other than that i RARELY froze
three times since i got the DLC yesterday and my friends are also freezing

I've had this same issue with my game as well for over a week now. At first it would happen once every evening of playing, but now its happening once every few hours. I've had it happen anywhere from round 3 to a few seconds left in the extraction round.
Lets just say 'frustrated' doesn't even come close to describing how I feel when this happens, especially when I'm in the extraction round, seconds away from finishing the match....

I've talked to someone at the help center at ea.com when I was first having issues, and he suggested that I clear the system cache in my storage device (found under settings when you push the silver x button on your control) but this didnt help at all. In fact when I've done this, I go into the game and it prompts me to download an update for the game. If I decline, it will sign me out of xbox live and therefore not being able to play on multiplayer. In fact I've done this 'clear system cache' thing a few times over the past few days and its still prompts me to download the update every time.

I just hope the techs are full aware of this and it will be fixed in this new patch.

I wouldn't say it's been ever 3 to 4 matches, but it certainly has frozen up more after downloading Rebellion than it ever did before. It's kind of aggravating that when they finally release a big bug fix they also release a DLC that just adds tons more bugs.

Well looks like all the glitches finally hit tilt and the servers just committed suicide. Wonder how long they will be off.

I'm lucky if a I can finish 1 multiplayer match, last time I tried to play (10 minutes ago) the game froze before the 1st wave even started. They seriously need to fix this.

Every since I got the DLC Rebellion my game has had a lot of freezing issues (mostly on MP). It can freeze on any wave and it's really frustrating because I can barely finish a game. I've tried cleaning the cache, re-downloading DLC, etc. I am very unhappy with this.

EDIT: The game just froze on the "Mission Accomplished" screen after a victory on gold. This is unacceptable.

I had a few freezes as well. Yesterday it happend after a whole day of doing MP. After turning the Xbox off i put my hand over it and it was pretty damn hot.. maybe its overheating?

this freezing issue happens quite inconsistent for me. but it just freeze today. can't do nothing but a hard reboot.

It's been happening to me a lot. Never happened before the latest DLCs, I'm sure of it.

Been posting in quite a few "Multiplayer Freeze" threads hoping for a fix, and while haven't heard anything from BW. I do believe the fix I posted the works, no problem's since then either:

This may be only a minor fix, but it's worked so far for me. Basically, just host your own games.

I've played about 10 games so far as host and haven't had it freeze once. Also, after about half those games or so, I decided to try switching gears and just search for a game, and lo and behold, it froze after the second round. So from now on, all I'm going to do is host games, because I'm sick of it freezing up otherwise.

Will update here again if I happen to freeze up as a host or something similar.

What maps are you people playing? I've had problems with CONDOR, RHO, VANCUVOR, LONDON and I am starting to have serious problems with HYDRA. It seems like the DLC maps are the problem. I also been trying to make a list of what problems I have been haveing when I play them.

PS: I have started a section called "Multiplayer maps: Please fix". If anyone wants to update or mention which map they crash on there feel free.

Just had yet another freeze, and decided to call it a night.
The freezes are completely random and I'm not sure if my system is the problem( being refurbished) or if it's the game itself.
