As far as I'm concerned, the only real tanks in the game that aren't PC's are Alistair and Shale. Which would you choose for your Tank, and why? Because I've been using Shale, but I'm seriously considering Alistair.

I could be mistaken....but l think there maybe a thread or three upon the very subject of Alistair/Shale.

I use Alistair as I find Shale boring, and I dislike having the sound of a rockslide follow me whenever I go.
Ali can also hit 100% magic immunity which is quite handy in some encounters, if cheesy.
