hello,
after every third reload my game starts flickering. I can only stop this by restarting the game. I updated all drivers/directx and tried this with different characters. I'm running dragon age on an athlon64x2 5000, 2GB ram + Geforce 8600GTS.
Please help Bioware!

Having the same problem on my laptop, but it never goes away. Flickering at the top 20% of the srceen. Tried different resouloutions and video settings with no luck. Running a intel dual core 3.2, 8800M GTX. All drivers are up to date, as well as game version.

I think your computer is at the low end of meeting the specifications for the game.  Most likely the game is over heating.  You can try running at a lower resolution with all the video bells and whistles turned off.  This may extend your playing time but not by much.  If its a laptop try using a cooling pad, once again improvement will be measured in minutes not hours of game play.  If its a desktop try inspecting the inside of the comuter to see if you have dust build up, if so use some canned air.  You can search the internet for a little utility called speedfan, it tells you the temp. of some of your components, also allows you to control the speed of the fans.  So if your computer is heating up perhaps increasing the speed of your fans  will help although this can make your computer sound like an aircraft getting ready to take off.

Well it was not overheating, just the anitialiasing setting. PLays awsome on 1600 x 1200 in high settings well. Not as well as my dual quad core dual vid desktop but its working and decent. Thanks for the help.
