But he ended the war together with Meetra Surik!

But in the end, he and Malak were indoctrinated by the emperor.

Oh, and he defeated the very same sith he brought back.

Indoctrination is all around this days for BioWare, huh?

I wonder who will be the next one to indoctrinated in DA3.

Oh wait, we have that already. Darkspawn. <_<

You sure? I think it'll be those stinky orlesians with their stinky cheeses.

Lol.

Council: the mandalorians are coming! you must defend us, god emperor Shepard.

God emperor Shepard: Council pls. You think I took control of the reapers to help you? NO! I took control of them so that I could make the sports event "reaper racing!"

Council: Fine, then we'll just destroy the citadel so that you can't control the reapers anymore.

God emperor Shepard: Yeah, let's see how that works out when the reapers start knocking on your door.

Council: FUUUUUUUUU-

That is my new canon.

Although, come to think of it, what would happen to Shepard if someone else decided to assume direct control? Would s/he die? Or would his/her soul be doomed to everlasting existence within the deep bowels of the citadel?

Step 1: Download (absorb) every Reaper consciousness into yourself or purge them all.
Step 2: Install your consciousness in every Reaper shell
Step 3: Vacate the citadel (leaving a guardian program just in case) and trash the exit port so none can use it again.
Step 4: ???
Step 5: Profit.

Then it's just me that think it's more Jedi? Oh well...

I guess my Shepard's reapers will sit around when the Mandalorians will come.

I see where you think that. And really, there are elements of both. Light and dark... kind of like... the Force?:D

That's why Revan intrigues me that much. He has experienced both sides of the force and has become a true grey.

Reaper racing for the win!

You see, that's one thing I as a destroyer can't have!

Then again, I could make playgrounds out of dead reapers for the little orphans everywhere!

Your point? I thought of this long before issues of someone else taking control or Reapers rebelling (pfft) came up.

Any such hypothetical will be headcanon.

But if you want the most conservative answer:
1.Crucible docks. Some noob is waiting to get at the control panel
2. Don't let him up because a) you're not a poorly programmed AI and B) because they're YOUR Reapers now.
3. Send Reapers to undock/destroy the crucible. Send keepers/husks/indoctrinated to take out the noob.
4. ???
5. Profit.

Indeed. I think Jolee was, too. And Juhani. Oh, and Bastila!

Basically, Revan's entire squad was grey.

Okay, walking to an explosion like a badass is one thing. But now you also have reaper playgrounds?

You destroyers get all the fun. :(

Don't know what the synthesizers get, though...

Oh, and they can hug all the reapers. And who doesn't want to hug reapers?

Maybe they have staring contests? I wonder who would be able to look into those blue eyes for more than a minute...

Or maybe they get to "oil" themselves down with Avina and EDI?

I'm not sure if I would really like to hug the giant spaceship that just destroyed my planet, home, family and friends, but I guess some people are...special that way.

I know, I'm a heretic and must die.

I wanted Soevereign to be an LI,

That is, when the reapers' villainous concept got flushed down the toilet along with the endings.

By the way, about Harbinger and Nazara...

...I hope some future ME3 DLC will tell us more about those two Dreadnoughts.

I think there was supposed to be something about Harbinger in this supposed leviathan DLC...

Queen of the reapers.

I like Control ending the most story wise. It has a powerful potential to go oh so wrong and to turn into another paradox. It doesn't feel like a victory either, watching the reapers retreat slowly back into space, and depending on the Shep the choice could make them feel like a traitor. Though, I don't see Shep as really becoming immortal. Her memories erase the old catalyst and become the foundation for a new VI, AI? I still can't decide. It annoys me how synthesis is still pushed during this ending where Shep claims to finally understand the reapers because she merged with them which works vice versa as she is now a machine<_<.

This Leviathan DLC is just a rumor right now. But I like the idea... Ex-Reaper? Maybe the original Catalist tried local-synthesis on thousands of Reapers, and this one was the only one who was affected and gained its own mind? And then became rogue?...
