Well, the Proto-Reaper could look almost the same way ("small" and human-like) after it would be finally constructed. According to EDI's intel, most Reapers have unique design.

But as the ending shot of ME2 shows all are built around the cuttlefish design. So the likeliest scenario is
Unique Reaper inside , possibly modeled on the species used in its construction.
Cuttlefish outside.

I suppose the complaint, stated more exactly then is that there isn't even any variance in the cuttlefish exterior in ME3. Every Reaper capital ship we see is just a copy-pasted Sovereign. Even Harbinger was supposed to be different ("legs" tucked in) yet when we see him at the beam run he's the same as every other reaper, only they added the yellow eyes.

God no. The moment the yahg enter into this, on either side, we are truly boned.

I think Harbinger didn't have that central tentacle that others have.

It's Gameplay and Story segregation. In the story, each reaper is unique but limitations force the developers to reuse the same model.

I mean we don't see anyone complaining about every human in a game not looking unique even though we are supposed to look unique. We as gamers are just used to seeing human character models being reused for NPCs.

I swear Thane's doctor looked 100% like Darner Vosque. I eve thought for a moment he was trying to secretly kill Thane! :o

I think it's a very nice form for a spaceship capable of landing planetside. What will Aliance dreadnought do after landing? Just lie on the ground, nothing more. But Reaper can walk. And I think two legs wouldn't be enough for that :)

Alliance dreadnoughts can't land planetside if I'm not wrong. They are constructed off-planet and must always remain so. Anybody confirm?

Well, they can actually. Remember the very beginning of ME3, where Shepard run with Anderson to meet the Normandy? There is a scene where a Reaper destroys Alliance dreadnought which floats above the skyscrapers. If the dreadnought can descend that far, then it can land planetside.

Well, maybe EDI indeed meant unique internal design, not external one. One of the Reapers has Core just under the "eyes", another one 400 meters higher, another one 200 meters to the left, etc. That's why lethal hit against one Reaper will not be lethal against another. A very nice addition to almost unpenetrable shields :)

Bioware admitted that was a lore error, Dreadnoughts cannot be in a planets atmosphere.

I think the ship was meant to be a cruiser.

Is it me or does Jennifer Hale make the new catalyst sound more robotic compared to Mark Meer in the final speech?

Personally, I think Jennifer Hale voiced Shepard much better in general. I strongly believe that female Shepard could be much better as "Canon Shepard" than male one.

And I have only one Shepard - my favorite one (Alisia). The one, who choose Control. All others were deleted :)

The original Shadow Broker wasn't that fearsome actually. Huge and heavy Salarian-Krogan-Batarian hybrid. Not quite good in combat - too easy to hit.

Not talking about gameplay. If I went by that, pretty much everything would be ridiculous. Banshees? Pfft. Keep your distance and keep shooting. Brutes? LOL.

It's what the lore says they represent. And in the case of yahg, we're talking stronger than krogan, smarter than salarians and very agressive. All these things would make a formidable monster.

On Shepard: Let's not get into a Meer vs Hale argument. I know no one's arguing but just a preemptive please.
I personally prefer male Shep and that's all this amounts to, preference.

On the plus side, we do have Mark Meer on our side. His favorite ending is control^_^

I maintain that destroy is the best option followed by control. With refusal following and synthesis in dead last by a long shot. As for control: There is no reason to keep the reapers alive at all, it is better just to put them down like a rabid dog than keep them going (even if shepard can supposedly control them, which makes no sense). Destroy is the best option for several reasons 1st and foremost the catalyst is dead wrong on all accounts. 2nd there is no reason to assume Shepard could control the reapers. 3rd destroy leaves organics to evolve without the reapers influence(who say indocrination stops after they are controlled) no conflict no change no evolution. 4th whose to say the peace will last? What If the reapers break free of Shepard? 5th big boom.

Well, according to the lore this "perfect hybrid" was defeated by one human and one asari. And this "perfect hybrid" was fighting on his own terms and on his own well-defended position. I think Wrex can easily defeat equally equipped yahg one on one. Besides, I'm sure yahgs don't have krogan birth-rate and large numbers. We don't even know how long can they live. What if just 50 years, like Salarians?

I think she once said in an interview that she preferred the destroy ending most.

I don't think so.

Shepard dies in Control. Dies and gives birth to the new Catalyst with Shepard's way of thinking and memories. And the Catalyst is a collective mind of all Reapers, not a "god"... This is how I see it.

I guess it depends on what kinda people you're dealing with. HagarIshay seems to imply that she thinks Shepard becomes a god in control.

YOUR BELIEF IS NOT REQUIRED.

No but seriously, I think she did. Doesn't mean that she in fact did (my memory of the interview is kinda hazy) but the way she talks about Shepard also seems to imply that she'd choose destroy.
